12 Across, "Superman's Earth Father", 4 letters. Answer is "Eben",
according to this week's issue. (I would've said "Kent", too easy, but the
letters just didn't match. I don't know which TV incarnation used "Eben".)

And in this week's TV Guide, May 18th, puzzle #1044:

Again 12 Across:)
"Superboy's birth mother on Krypton", again 4 letters. (I'd say "Lara", but
not sure if the other clues' letters fit in....)
