I love how I said the show couldn't survive without them hahaha...I actually
liked season 8 and 9. Some of 7 was ok. The show was just a little different

Gavin DeGraw didn't end up at the bottom of the Dancing with the Stars leader board more than once because he couldn't handle the demands of the show.

In fact, the high-intensity schedule of rehearsing in front of cameras and performing live in the ballroom is what helped him come as far as he did.

"I'll miss the whole pressure element of the show," DeGraw, 35, told PEOPLE backstage after he and partner Karina Smirnoff were booted from the ballroom Tuesday. "I enjoy the pressure. I don't necessarily enjoy it all the time, but pressure is good frequently."

Tanning, on the other hand, is another matter.

"It's a little scary," DeGraw explains. "The 'tan in the can' thing is a little scary because it makes your sheets look like you never bathe."

Even though he jokes that a mirror-ball trophy is what he won't be taking away from this endeavor, he does say that overall, he "had a great experience."

"We made a lot of good friends," he says. "It's kind of like summer camp. We picked up a couple dancing tips. You don't need a trophy to learn how to dance. This is about stepping out and learning something new. It's not about winning and losing all the time."

With the competition so fierce, it was bound to happen.

One couple scored a perfect 30 on Dancing with the Stars on Monday night for a paso doble that Bruno Tonioli called "spellbinding." Read on for more.

Maria Menounos wore fangs in the vampire-themed dance with pro partner Derek Hough to a standing ovation – and the season's first trio of 10s.

"Maria, the queen of the damned was the queen of the night," gushed Tonioli.

But close behind them on classical night were three pairs who each picked up 27 points, making this year's race for the mirror ball trophy one of the closest ever.

Katherine Jenkins continued to impress with a 27-point rumba with Mark Ballas that Len Goodman called "a classic."

They were tied with William Levy and Cheryl Burke, whose waltz won raves from Carrie Ann Inaba as "true dancing," and Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd, with a waltz that Goodman called "terrific."

At the other end was Melissa Gilbert, who recovered from a head injury only to see her pro partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy hobbled by a cyst to the ankle. Their clunky tango got the night's lowest score of 21.

Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower got a 25 for their tango while Jaleel White and Kym Johson scored 24 points for their waltz.

Gavin DeGraw didn't end up at the bottom of the Dancing with the Stars leader board more than once because he couldn't handle the demands of the show. In fact, the high-intensity schedule of rehearsing in front of cameras and performing live in the ballroom is what helped him come as far as he did. "I'll miss the whole pressure element of the show," DeGraw, 35, told PEOPLE backstage after he and partner Karina Smirnoff were booted from the ballroom Tuesday. "I enjoy the pressure. I don't necessarily enjoy it all the time, but pressure is good frequently." Tanning, on the other hand, is another matter. "It's a little scary," DeGraw explains. "The 'tan in the can' thing is a little scary because it makes your sheets look like you never bathe." Even though he jokes that a mirror-ball trophy is what he won't be taking away from this endeavor, he does say that overall, he "had a great experience." "We made a lot of good friends," he says. "It's kind of like summer camp. We picked up a couple dancing tips. You don't need a trophy to learn how to dance. This is about stepping out and learning something new. It's not about winning and losing all the time."

Yes I guess it is the start. I wonder if Haley didn't step in would Nathan stop being mean to Lucas. I FF a bit of this one because Nathan was being mean to Lucas. The hazing. I get it though. I think it was awesome when Karen called Sherry a bitch! It seems the kids get the qualities from their parents. Nathan is like Dan, Lucas like his mom, Tim like his mom and so on. Maybe because she isn't with Dan and all the other mom are with their husband. Who knows thought it was weird.

Yes Haley in pigtails is so cute. I don't mind Brooke's hair. She acts slutty in this episode. Trys to hard to get Lucas's attention. I didn't like Brooke's hair in season 9 either, like she needed a new hair color or something.

So I'm behind on shows. Since the group isn't that active, I will reply to the review as I see them. Try to catch up a bit this week if I can. I'm watching the OC with my mom and sister too along with the shows I PVR.

I think he would have. Because he kept taunting him even with his deal with Hales. Last week's episodes, the one where they have the away game, I think thats when things started to change, and that had nothing to do with Haley..

This time, as in S1 or S9? I forgot too until she mentioned it. Though, I thought she said (in S9) when mentioning it that was when she lied to Lucas about tutoring Nathan, but she didnt lie..

I agree; you can tell who raised their kids right.. Karen. lol. And small towns are generally judgemental so I guess its not surprising!

Then you have Nathan's middle name after his grandfather. And isn't Karen's daughter's middle name Roe? (everytime I watch, I cant tell if it's Roe or Rose).. He certainly loves to recycle names..

I don't know what his middle name is but Brooke's son Davis is also after her last name. Mark must really like that trend! Especially since Brooke kept her name for her company and Haley hyphenated.

So I forgot to mention this in my replies to reviews, but wtf is up with Mark's middle names? You have Nathan's being Royal; yes, aftre his grandfather but Mark chose the grandfather's name too, and its horrid.. Lucas is Eugene; enough said.. Brooke is Penelope (wtf!) and now Haley, and Lydia, is BOB?! First off, why the hell would Haley pass that name to her child, and why the hell did Lydia give Haley a cat's name?

Subject: 1.07 - Life in a Glass House

So.. Like I said, this episode title was loosely where I got the name for the group :) Funny enough, cause this is one of my least favorite episodes lol.. for a few reasons..

1. Brooke. I hate S1 Brooke. She is absolutely annoying, and, essentially, a baby. When she doesnt get her way, she ruins everyone else's life to make up for her displeasure..

2. Naley. The first BIG down of them. It sucks she didnt at least hear him out (yet) but then again, given his track record, who would. I felt so bad for her, because Ive been there. Humliated because of something someone you care for did to you. But I also felt bad for Nathan, because, from where he stands, she has no reason not to trust him.

3. Peyton.. I get her fear of letting someone in, because a lot of people like to walk out.. But at this point, who? Yes, her mom died and her dad's gone a lot. But other than that, she's had no leaving. I guess it can be summed up to daddy issues, but still, to be so close to even trying, thats irritating. But why she'd think Lucas was a hit it and quit it guy, Ill never know. You can just tell he's built different.

The things I did love from this episode..

Karen - not only her budding friendship with Deb (which I always loved), but because she was finally starting to let go of this chip shes carried on her shoulder for years. And for facing her fears. This was also the beginning of her rerelationship with Whitey.. I forgot how much I loved their bond!

Jake, and finding out about Jenny. Looking back, I hate how Mark didnt build up to it, but instead just BOOM baby'ed us, but Mark does like to drop the ball, a lot.

Not much else to relfect upon..

FINALLY! My Nathan has came lol..

Soooo.. The numerous beginnings this episode..

Naley, obviously. It's funny, I forgot Brooke was to thank for them getting together. I think had she not pulled that prank/date/whatever, Haley would have held that grudge. Though, I guess this did show consistency; even in the beginning, Haley was pissed at Nathan for things out of his reach. I loved that she bought him socks.. I wouldnt know what to buy the guy either, but Im the type of girl that would have bought him a thong lol.. The Dare You to Move kiss is soooooo awkward! You can tell James just does not know how to navigate it. But it's fitting, because first kisses, no matter how experienced you are, are just awkward. So it felt legit and real. And him going up to her at the end, brushing that hair off her cheek.. Yes, I did swoon, again. lol.

Brucas/Leyton - Obviously the beginning of the triangle. Before now, I think it was Lucas never even considering Brooke, but now, hes gotten to know her.. And him watching them at the end, you could tell he knew he was in for it. If Im being honest, I see why/how Brucas fans were as they were, but I still stand my ground with Leyton.

Karen and Keith.. LOVE THEM! It just saddens me, further!

And Deb.. I love what an effort shes making.. Thats a kickass woman, that does something like that. I literally lol'ed when Dan asks what smells good and it's Karens! Hilarious. True douche Dan moment, trying to parent Deb. And true Deb, ignoring him.

Thats pretty much it.. Oh, and, naughty naughty Colin Hart!

Im going to send my last review tomorrow, and immediately following, the new episode list. If you're behind, dont sweat it. Im just, as a dutiful owner, keeping up with episodes. Respond when you can! We are in no hurry!
