I'm a long time Law and Order fan, and I heard there was a computer
game based on the show in the works. So I went to the website and
volunteered for beta testing. In the short time I got to test, I was
really impressed! The plot was interesting and the detective work was
pretty realistic. You start out as Briscoe's partner and, after a
body is discovered in cental park, you start collecting evidence and
talking to witnesses that eventually lead you to the murderer. Then
you go to trial and put your witnesses on the stand. The goal of the
game is to get a guilty verdict from the jury. I was testing in the
early stages of the game so there were some bugs and problems, but I
really liked following the logic of the case. The game is quite
challenging, but the designers said there would be a hint feature to
help you through (that wasn't in yet when I played it.) I would
definitely recommend it to anyone who's a fan of the show. It felt
kind of like stepping into an episode! The company that's producing
the game is called Legacy, and you can find them at
<http://www.legacyinteractive.com/> if you want to check it out.
Cheers!
