NBC doubles up on 'Last Comic Standing'

NEW YORK: NBC is giving fans of "Last Comic Standing" a double dose of the reality competition -- on TV and online.

While "Last Comic Standing" makes its run on national TV, NBC.com will stream video of the comics who did not make the final cut and let viewers each week vote for their favorite, Zap2it.com reported.

The six top online contestants will square off in a semifinal and top two vote-getters will join the TV finalists in the "Last Comic" finale.

"Last Comic Standing" makes its debut both online and on TV May 30.
