Badger has done it again. "Blizzard" was inspired by a brief mention of a night
that Jess sent in a blizzard in the episode "Vengeance". This is what fanfic is
all about folks, taking a kernal of canon, and running with it. Hope you all
enjoy, and let Badger know.

It's a TWOFER! Yes pards, it's two fer the price of one roughly speaking,
except that there is no price involved and...but I digress. We have two new
stories up on the main site if you want to mosey over.
http://www.geocities.com/laramierelaystation/index.html
And don't fergit to feed the stock...er, send feedback to the authors!
Thank you to the many who have written and voiced their concerns about the Relay
Station disappearing in October when Geocities closes. I hope I have responded
to everyone, but in case I haven't, and for those who are thinking it, but
haven't asked yet...YES! We ARE going to keep the site going!
We haven't made the final decision yet, but it will probably remain in much the
same format as it is now, but moved to a new Web hosting service. There may be
some interruption where the site won't be available for a time, but it will be
back.
Thanks to everyone for worrying about us, and for your unending support.
Please mosey on over to our main site for a new story (by a new author) posted
today. It's a keeper, and hopefully you will slip Gail a note.
Carry on.
Annie
I hope you'll mosey over to our site and read Badger's new story, "Justice", the
story of the earliest days of the Jess and Mort friendship.
If you do, be sure and let Badger know how much you appreciate her.
Happy trails!
http://www.geocities.com/laramierelaystation/index.html
Our main site has been updated once again with a fabulous new story
from Badgergater. One of our favorite episodes has always been Glory
Road, and she has written a tag. Immediatly following Roney's death,
Jess and Essie have a heart-to-heart about where Jess should go from
here.
We love Miss Essie. We love Jess. We love this story. Go to the main
site, click updates and follow the path to "Seeing the Light".
http://www.geocities.com/laramierelaystation/index.html
Elaine Kane has written a wonderful new story for us Laramie fans.
Caution: It is a long one, but infinitely satisfying. Pull up your
favorite chair, prop your feet up, grab a toddy, and enjoy "Guilty".
Due to the size of our combined collections, some pages may not be
immediatly available. If you click a link that says "temporarily
unavailable", just know that I am working to move some things off the
site and house them elsewhere so space will not be such an issue
anymore. You should be able to return later to the page you want.
Enjoy! and don't forget to stroke the author a bit. Authors like that.
A new short story has been posted. Jess has some thinky thoughts after
what happened in Fugitive Road. Mosey on over to the site and check it
out. Don't forget to let Nan know your thoughts on it so maybe she'll
keep it up!
http://www.geocities.com/laramierelaystation/index.html
We are doubly blessed this week with two stories. One from an old
friend, and another from a new one.
Badger has written "Bounty" about a hunter who goes after Jess not
knowing that Jess has turned his life around. Could be a follow up
to "Lawless Seven", but you don't have to know the episode to enjoy the
story.
Also, Nan has given us the gift of "Tinder and Ash". And a gift it
is. Jess does what Jess always does; he takes care of the horse before
himself. This time there are tragic consequences and angst abounds.
Please hop on over to the site and enjoy "Bounty" and "Tinder and Ash",
and be sure to drop a few pennies in the feedback jar for the authors
who work and sweat over these offerings for your enjoyment.

For those of you, I guess I should tell you where to find the new
story! If you go to our main site:
http://www.geocities.com/laramierelaystation/index.html
Click on Updates and you'll find it. Or navigate to Our Favorite
Things, and Original Laramie stories.
Our old friend BadgerGater has recently re-discovered her love of
Laramie. She is a talented writer (some of you may know her work from
the Stargate fandom), and has written a story about one of the single
most puzzling scenes in Laramie. The scene where Slim rides off and
leaves Jess by the side of the road in "Night of the Quiet Man", after
Jess has been shot.
This has been discussed, and dissected with much wailing and nashing
of teeth for years. Well, our friend Badger has taken it on in her
first-ever Laramie story.
Welcome her, enjoy the story, and be sure to let her know what you
thought of it.
Annie
Happy Fall to those of us in the Northern Hemisphere.
The main site has been updated with another gem by Patricia Henry
called "Second Chance". It's a tight little murder mystery that
crosses over with The Virginian, and has a smattering of The Big
Valley and Bonanza too!
Enjoy, and please be sure to send feedback. It's what makes authors
want to keep sending us their stuff.
Thanks to one and all

Happy Labor Day everyone in the US. I remember 1 year ago this
weekend, we lost Steve Irwin and I'm still so sad about that. Labor
Day will always be a little sadder, and the world a little poorer for
his loss.
On a brighter note, Patricia Henry has graced us with her talent once
more. Mosey on over and take a gander at her new story "A Love to Die
For". It's a doozy.

For those of you who knew or knew about Annamarie Riley, I'd like to
let you know that Annamarie passed away on Aug 2nd, peacefully and
without pain.
Annamarie was a delightful lady who, along with her sister, created
the first ever fan club for Robert Fuller back in the early 60's and
had the honor of visiting him and his parents.
She will be greatly missed.
About the post regarding Annamarie. If you do write to her and do not
get an answer, it's because she has just recently gone into the
hospital. Her health is very fragile right now. Still okay to send
her greetings though, her family will get them to her.

The episode write up/review of Bitter Glory has been added to the
season 2 episode guide.
I know! Two in one day! What must I be thinking?
I've also upgraded the screen caps for Killer's Odds.

Also, our friend, and the leader of the first ever Robert Fuller fan
club, Annamarie Riley, is in a home in New Jersey, and now has access
to email. I'm very sure she'd be very happy to hear from anyone who
wants to send greetings.
Some of you know Annamarie from our Soapbox Corral where she shared her
experiences of meeting Bob Fuller, John Smith and visiting the set of
Laramie back in the '60s.

A Christmas gift from Patricia Henry. A lovely Christmas story about
the first Christmas that Jess spends at the Sherman Ranch. Visit our
main page and click on Updates to find the link to "The First
Christmas". Be sure and send feedback.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a Happy 2007.

I've gone crazy with screen caps. And not those silly take-a-picture-
of-your-TV-screen caps. No, the real thing.
New ones have been added to Lost Allegiance, Killer's Odds (yes! more!)
and A Grave for Cully Brown. More to come as I get better at this.
Go to the main page and click Updates.

Howdy Pards,
I've added some pictures to the Killer's Odds page. I decided that I
love this episode so much, I just had to have pictures. Once again,
it's me and my camera. Boy, it's times like this I really miss Jenny.

I've added some pictures to the episode The Run to Tumavaca.
I'll apologize up front for the quality and the amateurishness. Don't
laugh, but these are actually pictures of my TV. Enjoy. Snicker if
you must.

A new story by Maddie Holthe has been posted. It's a lovely Christmas
story, a little late, but you can never have too much Christmas. Or
too much Laramie :-)
Go to our main page and click on the Updates Link.

Enjoy, and be sure to let Maddie know if you like it so she'll keep on
writing!
