Happy Thanksgiving to all our U.S. group Members.

I wanted to announce that Lanaia and I have collaborated on a new CD which will
be on sale very soon!

The CD is titled : "The Moon Drenched in Blood - Volume One"

Written by Lady Lanaia Lee of the Lair. Read by me (Victor Roscetti) but using
the name Viktor Aurelius - Since this is a commercial CD which will be on
Amazon, websites and being advertised on the Haunted Voices Radio Network (of
which I am working on the Radio Commercial). I could not use the Nightcrawler or
LaCroix's name as my "Character". But remarkably I still sound exactly the same!
LOL

Here is the CD Commercial and ad copy:

Lady Lanaia Lee presents "The Moon Drenched in Blood – Volume One" Audio CD

Twenty of Lady Lanaia Lee's hauntingly dark poems are read by Viktor Aurelius,
whose equally haunting voice compliments the imagery of Lanaia's chilling words.
Ghosts, ancient gods, historical events and people, even the 2012 Doomsday
Prophecy are some the subjects brought to life within this audio masterpiece.
Listen and be transported into another world by the deep, breathy tones of this
Vampire's voice.   74 minutes    $15.00

I've even put the CD cover graphics on the Yahoo Group in the Photos section for
you to have a preview!

Thank you,

Victor Roscetti, Moderator and Voice

       DARK  CHRISTMAS

By Donna Marie

Characters:

LaCroix

ghost of Natalie

Divia & Fleur

Lucien LaCroix, looks through the window, of his front room,

this night in mid December.

The place, is Toronto, Canada, the time, is the present.

The snow is falling silently upon a street, where carolers sing

their melodies of the season. They wear Victorian costumes.

Earlier this night, LaCroix roamed the streets, searching for

a victim, to sustain his blood lust.

However, twice he attempted to do the grisly deed, but was

met with a quite cheerful woman, dressed in red and green.

She wished him a "Merry Christmas", and told him, You look

ill. I wish you better health in the coming year."

He let her pass, as he looked at her, in wonder.

He also, met a man, he deemed ripe for the kill. He was small.

aging, with a limp as he walked.

LaCroix new he would be a good target, but as the man turned

the corner of the street, they were met with the carolers-

singing loud and joyously.

"Oh, do stay and listen to the holiday music, won't you?" he

invited. He could not see, the pale face and menacing gaze, in

the shadows.

"Curses!" he said aloud, as the man took his place with the

chorus.

"What a vile season this is! Am I to perish before it is over?"

he says to himself.

He turned the corner, and flew back to his dwelling.

He quickly drew the drapes, to escape the merriment and

holiday lights from the street.

"What is a vampire to do? Am I to slay each and every

mortal, to end this misery?" he bellows, to no one.

His eyes ached-even burned from the endless colorful

lights, he was forced to look upon.

The sounds of the ringing bell, for the poor, were now

magnified in his own ears.

"This madness must end!" he bellows, yet again.

He retreats, for slumber, and piece of mind, at dawn.

The carolers have retired, and Christmas trees are now dark.

The snow continues to fall.

His resting place, is in the very bowels of his house-deep and

dark. Not a sliver of daylight, enters this room. This room,

filled with scattered cobwebs and crawling spiders..even a

few rats, also inhabit this old Victorian house.

He closes his eyes, now devoid of the sights and sounds of

Christmas, and quickly slips into a dream.

~~~~~~
He sees himself, sitting in a chair, smiling. He is a mortal
man. Sitting on his knee, is a young girl, of eight.
She is Divia, his precious daughter.
It is Christmas. Delicious aromas fill the holiday air, spices
of every kind. There are hundreds of candles, ablaze, and
there is joyful music.
"Do you remember?" a female voice, echoes through the air-
yet no one is seen.
Suddenly, the scene shifts to yet another.
He sees himself, embracing his precious flower, Fleur, and
they kiss, beneath the mistletoe.
"I shall always love you, " she says, caressing his cheek.
"And I, shall love you eternally," he replies, smiling.
Both their hearts, glow red, as they beat.
He sees this, and is overcome with emotion, turning away.
"Father! Father!!" a small voice cries out, in the dream.
"Divia!!" he shouts, as he awakens.
"Do you remember?" the voice asks again. "Do you
remember the love, and joy?"
"Indeed, I do. But, what hellish alchemy is this?! Do you
enjoy torturing me? Step out, where I can see you!"
She steps from the shadows, dressed in a long white gown.
She is Natalie-Nicholas' Natalie.
"You?! Why are you here?"
"Because it is the season, and you have forgotten."
"Do you think, that a vampire should remember such an event?"
"What good, would it do, to remember? All it can do, is torture
my soul. I am beyond redemption_beyond hope. I have quite
forgotten Christmas!"
"It is my task, to help you to remember this day."
"But why? WHY do you wish to help me?"
"Because you love Nick, and because it is Christmas."
"Hold out your hands," she instructs. Into each palm, she
puts a golden locket, belonging to Divia. Into the other, she
puts a silver hair comb, belonging to Fleur.
"But how-where did you get these things?" he asks, in
wonder. "What form, of trickery is this?!  "You are even
more cruel than I, if you think that I can believe you!"
"Turn around, she instructs, they are standing right behind you."
"They can be with you, from Christmas until New Years."
LaCroix turns around, slowly.  "I see nothing!" he roars.
"You must believe, in order to see them."
"Again, you lie and deceive me, spirit! I do not believe!"
"I will NOT believe in it! YOU, are the epitomy of evil,
to tell me these things! Be gone from my sight!" he orders.
He suddenly hears a carol, "Silent Night", as he looks from
the window, and out to the snowy street.
The ghost of Natalie, begins to flicker, and then fades away.
Through the snow, and under a street light, he can now see,
his daughter Divia and his lover, Fleur.
"I can see them, spirit! I DO believe!!"
"Spirit of Natalie, hear me! Come back. Come back!"
"Don't leave me wretched, and alone..not now!" he cries out,
in the darkness.
"Nicholas, can you find her?" he pleads, for the very first time.
Nicholas, does not answer him.
~~~~~~~~~

Lacroix locks himself away. from the season, and the world, as

his pleads for mercy, are not heard. He is in the deepest,

darkness, until the season is over.

He does not rise, in the darkness, it is his, long, endless night,

as he mourns his loss, again.

To others, it will be a white Christmas, but for LaCroix, it shall be.

a dark Christmas.

Maybe next year, he shall trust enough..to believe.

The End..

"Templer - in Honor of the Origins of Friday the Thirteenth" by Lanaia Lee

And "Friday the Thirteenth (Again)" by Donna-Marie

Here is the Radio Station link:

http://www.dragons-lair-studios.com/cerk_radio.htm

Please take a few minutes and listen to them again

please read

I just want to send out a second reminder to the group about the Contest.
There is still time to enter! I would love to see a few more entries!

Remember the prize will be a one-of-a-kind personalized "Blood-Red" Holiday
Ornament - a personal digital message will be record by me as LaCroix/the
Nightcrawler and his picture will be on the ornament too!

Here is the info on it again:

Before Thanksgiving (November 26) I would like a story written about the
meaning of Christmas (Winter Solstice, Hanukkah, etc.) and the lesson can be
good, bad or otherwise. It can be "LaCroix/the Nightcrawler" learning a
lesson or even a general "Scrooge / It's a Wonderful Life / etc" based story
  Let your creativity flow. Please only one submission per Author.

Between November 27th and December 1st I want our group to vote on the
winner. I will post a "Poll" on our Yahoo group for votes to be cast. PLEASE
vote.

Please send in your entries as soon as you can!!!! I would love to see some
of our silent members join too because I will record the entries for the
Radio Station.

Just post your entry here as you would a message. I will then put it in a
file for everyone to read. Visit the Yahoo group and go to "Files" and open
Christmas Contest Entries" - or you can use this link:

http://tv.groups.yahoo
com/group/LaCroixPoems/files/Christmas%20Contest%20Entries/

- There you can read all the entries.

Thank you,
