And maybe she'll show some leg.
Its good to see Kyra back and involved in a new venture. It appears
that Kyra has been allowed to do a stand alone special. I'm quite
pleased with her delivery.
Without a doubt Kyra has this open inclusive style that makes her
rare, special and a must to watch.
Good to see you back Kyra!
Hi their
I havenoticed that last two night that Kyra has been filling in for
Paula that she is not wearingher wedding ring. Has any one seen
anything in any blogs about her marriage?
thanks
Bill
She's been reporting from Iraq.
Go to the Cnn.com homepage and under the "World" header click on
video. This will bring up CNN.com video. In the search box type "Kyra
Phillips" and hit enter. This will bring up a listing of her reports.
The latest ones are free to view if you don't have a subscription to
Pipeline. Everything seems to get archived to Pipeline in about 14
days.
Kyra is in Iraq, that's why Kiran was filling in for her.

I'm lost, what happened?
Kyra is in Iraq doing the reporting that Arwa Damon did. For how long
who knows, hopefully not long. Stay safe in Iraq Kyra we miss ya :)
I have been out of the loop. What happened to Kyra? I noticed she has not been
on the braodcast for almost 2 weeks.

I must say that I really feel for personalities, professionals, and
actors who are relentlessly pursued by Kama Kazi News reporters who
step over any line, personal or otherwise when it comes to covering
television personalities.
Kyra was maliciously violated by some unscupulous admirer and all the
world had to become a party to it. Frankly, I think its time to draw
the line against these types of camera pimps and predators who will do
anything for a buck.
Kyra keep your head up and keep delivering Class A News reporting.
Soon an answer may be available to address those who will do anything
for a yellow journalism tid bit.
I'm for giving these people big time in the slammer.

Kyra Phillips is an extraordinarily talented and charismatic person. However, I
have my doubts about her going to "much higher heights in the industry" for the
reason that she has been in her present position for quite a long time, is no
spring chicken, and hasn't exhibited an especially strong drive to advance her
career beyond being essentially a "news reader."
Compare her career path to date with that of, as an extreme example, Barbara
Walters, who obviously has been intensely "driven" from an early age, and has
relentlessly grabbed every opportunity for "advancement" that came her way,
including some that fizzled notoriously.

a love for herself and people in general. This makes her an extremely
interesting reporter and I see her career rising to much higher
heights in the industry.

Hey, does it bother anyone else here that Kyra has to co-host her show now?
The "CNN
Newsroom" with Don Lemon is not nearly as good as "Live From" was...(100% Kyra)
my Kyra
Time has been cut in half! :(
Got caught with her pants down answering nature's call. But imagine
this as a "hypothetical" horror story. You're sitting there watching
your favorite CNN Headline News broadcast in your little hobbit hole -
actually a very cluttered 9'x 9' bedroom. And - WHAM - you're suddenly
watching yourself watching your favorite CNN Headline News broadcast
in your bedroom ... on your favorite CNN Headline News broadcast! In
your BEDROOM. The camera is not only pointed at your chair and TV set
from an open bedroom closet ... it's pointed at the bed you slept in
last night! Just hypothetically.
And it that wasn't enough ... there's always the bathroom. And it's a
very small bathroom ... perfect for those "wide-angle" spycams.
Toilet, bathtub ... all close together. Now right off hand I can think
of three very embarassing "biological functions" that can occur in a
bathtub. Thankfully, one of those may not have been noticeable.
Now I ask you ... what sick mind could've conceived a plot like
this? "CNN meets Big Brother House"? But did you HAVE to go with the
nude scenes???
She does look nice with the new looks. I noticed that her hair is a
darker red than it was earlier this year, very nice!

I just noticed the in recent months every now and then Kyra has been
having her hair worn up even the past two days she's been on tha air
she kept it up. I don't know what got her into it but I'm getting used
to the idea of it. I think it does look good on her.
Is that guy staying on the show permanately now? This is bullcrap
Kyra should be the only one to host that show. This is a horrible
mistake by cnn. Kyra is the best that kid needs to go.
First Daryn Kagan is let go and replaced by some "sort of man" tool and
carrot top, now Kyra has to share her show with some kid who looks like
he is ten years old! How long has this kid been on? I get a week day
off, turn on CNN at 1:00 and this child is sitting there next to Kyra!
CNN just keeps shooting itself in the foot!
I did notice. Even Rush Limbaugh said "Doesn't CNN *like* Kyra
Phillips??" I was more interested in hearing Kyra anyway, so I was
grateful. The sound was really bad at the beginning, and I was trying
to hear if she said the workd "a--hole", as reported. No luck.

Is it just me or did anyone else notice that the volume on Kyra
increased during the 90 seconds (a long time by TV standards) and the
volume on Bush decreased? Hmmmm kinda makes ya wonder if someone is
out to get her. Also, when on Letterman and the "control freak" issue

This is the most activity that I've seen in this group in a short
period of time since I joined years ago. The incident awhile back
when Nancy Pelosi snapped at Kyra and told her to go work for the
Bush administration got no response at all. Probably nobody saw it.

she is really blessed because honestly, nothing really crude was
uttered; she didn't call anybody a bitch, she didn't badmouth any
coworkers--or the station, she didn't talk about sex, any affairs,
anybody's gossip, anybody talking about leaving cnn or getting axed
from cnn, she didn't talk about the best tampon to use or which
intern has a nice butt; she didn't talk about some contact who could
fix a speeding ticket for her or anything compromising her ethics,
frankly, when i heard about the snafu, i thought she was on tape
doing what everyone does in a bathroom (no.1 or no.2)...
so if it had to happen, she should really be feelin' good---all she
has to do now is get some boxing gloves when she sees her sister-in-
law but that was probably ironed out later the same day.
