The News About CNN Anchors John Roberts and Kyra Phillips

If you noticed some on-air chemistry the last time John Roberts and Kyra
Phillips anchored together, here's why:

Sources close to the couple tell TVNewser the CNNers have been dating since
December and the relationship is getting very serious.

Phillips, who's been single going on three years ago, was in Toronto last
weekend for Roberts' induction into the Canadian Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
While there, we're told she met the Roberts clan. Roberts, the father of 23- and
17-year-old children, has been split from his wife for about a year.

For now, the relationship is long distance with Roberts anchoring American
Morning from New York and Phillips anchoring on CNN from 1-3pmET from Atlanta.
In other words, a lot of Delta frequent flier miles are being racked up.
Phillips has also filled in on American Morning for co-anchor Kiran Chetry.

The source says Phillips is telling friends she's found her life partner. We're
told a family vacation out west is in the works so Roberts can meet Phillips'
family.

safety of the cnn studios.i do love seeing her in blue jeans but that
is juat for minutes. kyra is my only reason to watch the news. i know

Apparently there have been some new photos in the last 7 days, but I
couldn't find them. I will post some links to some really nice ones of
mine soon. I also have a ton of caps of Kyra in Iraq. I liked
the "green leather" ones from last July in the photo section. It takes
so long for new messages to show up around here that it's frankly
discouraging. I suppose the intent is to screen out the X-rated
messages that abound in Yahoo groups and elsewhere.

Whoever posted the new pics of Kyra, thanks!  The girl can't help it,

I'm sorry, but I prefer her hair longer and softer.  My wife wore her
hair in the style of those photos, and she used so much gel to get the
hair to stick straight back it poked me in the eye when I rolled up
behind her in bed.  Then again, my wife turns 70 this year so she is no
spring chicken and that kind of "in" or "fashionable" hair style on a
grandmother of TEN did not suit her at all.  Kyra ALWAYS looks great
and I like her hair both long and short, just soft and not artificially
forced into some shape with tons of hair products.

I think I may have taken those pictures. Kyra always looked good with
very short hair, and I have some photos from around 2002 of her
looking incredibly hot that way. However, after a certain age, that
stops working. Several of my favorite news anchors (Chris Jansing,
Linda Stouffer) have grown their hair longer for a youthful effect,
and it works. I haven't been able to see Kyra in awhile, but there is
a photo collage coming of swipes I got from Talking Heads where she
has a hairstyle I think looks nice on her.
