Chapter Two

Admiral Adama sat down reading. River sat at his feet her head resting on his
knee as she listened to him. The Serenity crew had helped them been their
saviours in there own way. All of Galactica had become protective of River.
They knew what had happened to her so when she babbled at them, they all tried
to understand what she was saying.

Simon sat in his room alone, feeling a little lost. He could help, he had
helped being a top class doctor but River was growing on her own. She had found
a father figure and a larger family.

Kayleigh walked around with the chief. She loved talking with someone who loved
their ship as much as she loved Serenity. They, in their own way were teaching
each other what they knew. Told each other about their experiences. It was
nice to find a friend who could understand.

Jayne and Kara sat watching Pyramid having a drink and eating. The two of them
had become fast friends in so many ways they were the same but at the same time
they were so different.

Zoe and Wash got to spend a lot of time together, It was good to have someone
watching their backs so they could spend some time together.

Lee and Mal talked for hours about wars and being in charge. They told each
other their horror stories and drowned their sorrows..
