I am watching and I like it. It is more of a family style drama even though the characters aren't related by blood. It is also very silly at times so don't expect anything too serious. But the goofiness makes me laugh. :) The main character is played by Horikita Maki, (Hana Kimi, Innocent Love). With the exception of the youngest of the six sons who I didn't recognize, the sons are all guys that you will recognize from other dramas. If you watch it let me know what you think.

Just watched the first episode of Meitantei no Okite. It's really rather cute!
It's a mystery show, with a little twist. The main characters know that they are
in a tv show and talk to the camera.
Matsuda Shota, better known as Nishikado Sojiro from Hana Yor Dango, plays
Tenkaichi Daigoro a Super Dective. And he is adorable.
Looking for something fun and lighthearted to watch, this is a good bet. As of
right now only the first episode seems to be out, since the show started airing
last month.

Found this off another website (dramadeans.com). Had heard they were going to
make a second one, but haven't founf out much more than this for now.
"Production as an Asian drama: Producers say, "We will cast at least one out of
either Song Hye-gyo or Rain"
The KBS drama Full House, which aired in 2004 and earned much love not only in
Korea but throughout Asia, will be producing a season 2 as a pan-Asian drama
with participation from Korea, China, Japan and other countries. Full House is
the drama that shot Rain to fame throughout Asia as a skilled dancer and singer.
Director Park Chang-shik of Kim Jong-hak Productions told Herald Biz on the
24th, "In preparation for making Full House Season 2, writer Jo Jung-hwa has
worked for two years. Currently, the scripts for the first four episodes have
been completed. Since Korean, Chinese, and Japanese actors will be
participating, the drama will be filmed in those countries."

Hi!
Thank you for letting me join your group. I love Asian dramas because unlike
the American soaps, they ahve a beginning, Since AZN is now off the air I have
ahd to come to the internet to find more, however it is difficult to find
complete series that have english subtitles.
As for what I would like to see, I am open to any and all suggestion, just no
horror movies.
As for my favorite, I like Korean dramas, BUT I enjoy those from Bangkok, Japan
and a few others as well. It depends on the story line and the actors.
Looking forward to suggestions and possible sites to download and view more!
Currently I am watching Air City, but I have not been able to find episode 14
and 15 to download. The torrents keep stalling.

I have a small (for now) blog I created to go along with the group.
http://kdramasociety.blogspot.com/
I'll mainly be posting about dramas, movies and even anime that I find
interesting and worth taking you time to look at. I'll try to add some info
about actors, the drama and such.
So wish me well and take a look. Feel free to e-mail me if there's something
you'd like to see posted!

Okay, so I have been away for way to long. Due to personal stuff. But I am back
now and ready for a bunch of new drama stuff!
-------
*NOTE- No spoilers here for those who haven't seen the entire show yet*
While as many of you know there are some great new dramas that are out there.
Right now the hottest of all is Boys Over Flowers (Korean version).
Okay here's my take. The overall story was fairly good. I liked most of the
cast, but I had a few expections. For some reason I just couldn't get into the
two main characters Lee Min Ho as Goo Joon Pyo, and Koo Hye Sun as Geum Jan
Di.They seemed to over the top at times, and Koo Hye Sun seems to be able to
show only two expressions.
I was more interested in Chu Ga Eul (Jan Di's best friend) and So Yi Jung
relationship. Plus, I think I have a slight crush on Kim Hyun Joong as Yoon Ji
Hoo.
If I had to pick I would still choose the Japanese version of the show.
Clover
Hallo!
I'm trying to update the site to cater to all the members more. I'm going to be
adding new links, suggesting dramas/movies, and a few other ideas I have on tap.
So here are a few questions:
1) Are you new to asian dramas?
2) Where do you get your info on dramas?
3) What type do you prefer? (Japanese, Korean, Chinese, etc.)
4) Would you like news updates on stars or shows?
5) Would you like a list of recommended dramas/movies?
There you go! That wasn't hard. If there is anything more you would like to
see, drop it in. I'll see what I can do.

Thanks Lady Rui! I actually just started watching You Are My Destiny
2 weeks ago and, even though it is crazy long, I like it so far. It
is a little stressful and who, if anyone, is Sae Byuk going to get
with? Hmmm.
I actually already watch J-dramas and T-dramas. I am currently
watching Miss No Good (T) and Oh! My Girl (J). I think I am going to
watch Innocent Love (J) too but I haven't checked out the first epi
yet. Oh, and Love or Bread (T) just aired on Saturday so I am
planning to check that out when it is subbed.
My sister and I love Nodame Cantabile! I don't know if Ueno Juri has
been in anything since Last Friends which I haven't watched.
:) Have a good day!

I have recently become aware of a new site which advertises they can make accessing your groups `faster and easier'. A monitor of another group shared this information with me:
"Over the past few days I've researched the Grouply service from both the pro and con perspectives, poured through numerous posts on the various Yahoo Groups technical and management lists, and examined
comments from Grouply advisory board members as well as the CEO and co-founder and all have helped me to the conclusion I hold regarding the service. While Grouply is the only service mentioned by name, as other services are developed that offer similar services the policy
explained below will be expanded to encompass the new companies. When you join Grouply.com, several things will occur which you may not be aware will happen:
First, when a member joins, it automatically changes their primary
email address for the groups, giving them a @grouply.com extension. This is being done to those who are joining and is changed on the Yahoo ID so all mail received from the lists will now be sent to the grouply.com address. The only place this is mentioned is deep in one of the FAQs and not up front and in plain view of the new subscriber.
Second, members who join the Grouply website have to give their
member ID and password. This opens up a security issue for those members as now a third party has complete access to their Yahoo account. This includes not just the Yahoo Groups, but also personal mail and any
other services accessed via the Yahoo ID.
Third, once a member joins Grouply, it opens access to the files and posts of each group to the Grouply website. Grouply staff can then access these files. If they get hacked, then it opens the doors to
the groups getting hacked as well. Additionally, Grouply will pull the list's archives onto their servers, generally a violation of Yahoo's TOS.
Fourth, it opens the risk of spam. Not only is there an enticement to
send a message to all the new grouply.com subscriber's groups announcing the Grouply service, but any other advertising or announcements as well. This is spam and few lists tolerate such
solicitations. In other words, information from a group can be made accessible to everyone, and massive amounts of spam with your email address may be generated."
In short, I am leery of Grouply. I am concerned about members of the
list who join because you are exposing fellow group members, moderators, and owners to unauthorized use of their emails and group information by Grouply. I may implement a policy very soon that will disallow Grouply email addresses on this list.
If you have joined Grouply and are using them to read this list, you should reconsider Grouply or cease having Grouply collect your mail for this group. If you choose to leave Grouply, please go into your Yahoo Groups
account at: http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups and change your password.
I hope you understand the measures I feel I must take and will take precautions to protect your Yahoo ID.

It's true they made their own version of the story and it works. It's
not the high school setting and it looks like soshi is now the
younger brother and their character profiles were switched.

It is good. Watched the whole thing and it was great. I laughed and

April 9th, 2008 AZY, The Asian Network was taken off the air - that means that we could no longet see dramas there in the America's. I was in the middle of watching Here Comes Ajumma when the setwork stopped! The last
episode to air was 153 and with the way it ended I just know there has to be more!! Also Coffee Prince did not finish as well as a few other shows. I was so sad. I am looking for links to view the dramas on line or places to purchase them. Unfortunately I only read english so I need subtitles for my movies.
Well, I am open to suggestions! Kimberly
