We are originally from a small town south of Decatur, but we have lived in Decatur for the past 10 years...Jase is a volunteer fireman for the Long Creek Fire Dept..he is going through the process of  trying to become a Decatur Firefighter..he's passed the written and physical test, and has had one interview so far...he really  loves helping people and the Jase you see on the show is not the Jase in real life...he's really a very good person, and he would never be mean to anybody...he's just playing a game...and he is much better looking without the headband and the facial hair...I just wish everyone could see the real Jase...thanks for writing...Jases mom Liz
