Hello and Good Evening to all the Dukes of Hazzard Fans out there,
I have some Great News, and Some Not So Great News,
Well, let's start off with Jack Gordon aka " HONEST JOHN LEDBETTER ", from the pilot episode One Armed Bandits, yes the first episode of the Dukes of Hazzard, and it is the one where LEE 1 is jumped over Roscoe.
I will mention that I have know Jack since November 1997, he has really changed my life, and my out look on the Dukes of Hazzard TV Show. He has been to all 4 of our Hair Dare Dukes Days for Cancer Research, he even went with us the the very First " Dukes Fest 2001, down in Sperryville Virginia. He is an incredible person, and I have been honoured to have been blessed with his friendship. Jack has told me some great stories about the first few episodes of The Dukes of Hazzard TV Show.
My friend Jack , well, he just arrived home from the hospital, yes, I didn't post anything, because I didn't know what to post.
He was in the hospital for about a week, and it didn't look very good, very sad, this hurts me so much to see this man hurting so much........So, I prayed for him to get better, and he is improving..........
Tonight My son Lance and I spent a few hours with Jack, he finally was able to watch the show Fanatical, in which he said " GREAT JOB PAUL " !!
I am asking for everyone's prays for JACK as his health is not the good, actually, it is very poor. I guess what I'm asking for, maybe some get well cards, maybe Christmas Cards, anything to cheer Jack up, and make him feel he is still thought of.
so, please, a simple card, maybe a short note on the card, or even a letter, that would be the greatest gift we could all give Jack right now, I really appreciate everyone's effort in this matter. Jack turns 80 years old in January.
so, please send anything to :
