BRIAN CROUCHER
Brian will appear in the Woody Allen Summer Project (WASP) as the owner of a
garage which restores classic cars. His character is restoring the car of Colin
Farrell's character, and Brian gets to say the first line in the first scene
that was shot for the movie! Brian plays Kenny in the Asian Network Radio soap
'Silver Street'. Kenny is the Chairman of the local football club, with a
rather unpleasantly racist son! Brian has also been working on 'Wannabees' a
new interactive web based soap opera produced by Illumina Digital for the BBC.
Set in Brighton and shot on video, 'Wannabes' follows the lives of a group of
young people as they try to launch their careers in music, television and film.
The serial is aimed at teenagers with access to broadband. Brian plays the
Wannabee Lord Mayor of Brighton! He's also to be heard on a recent Vodafone
commercial, and appeared as a guest on the Channel 4 sketch show 'Party Pieces'
playing a gangster in a balaclava. Brian reports that unfortunately he had to
do rather too much running around and during filming he pulled a hamstring, so
his 'character' had to slow down a little after that!
