GARETH THOMAS
The second series of 'Distant Shores' in which Gareth plays Charles McAllister
is due to air in early 2006. Gareth has just recorded several more episodes for
the CBBC fantasy game show 'Raven' as the voice of the Wisdom Tree. 'Raven' is
a similar type of show to the old 'Crystal Maze' in which the mysterious Raven
calls together six young warriors to face a series of mental and physical
challenges. It's being shown at the moment on CBBC on weekday afternoons 4.30 -
5 pm and weekday mornings 8 - 8.30 am.
PAUL DARROW
Paul has recorded the narration for the pilot of a proposed new quiz series for
C4 - 'Friday Night Hero'.
JAN CHAPPELL
The new series of ITVs 'Rosemary & Thyme' in which Jan plays Elaine Banham in
the episode 'A Monasstery Garden' will be broadcast later this year.
MICHAEL KEATING
Look out for the Rev. Stevens officiating at another Walford funeral on
'EastEnders' during Christmas week (he thinks 22 or 23 December).

GLYNIS BARBER
Glynis will be seen as Dora Hills in the next episode of Lynda La Plante's
'Trial & Retribution X' - Sins of the Father, a 90 minute drama for ITV1. DCS
Walker (David Hayman) and DCI Connor (Victoria Smurfit) return to investigate
the death of a young girl, the daughter of an apparently happily married couple.
Glynis recently appeared in 'Separate Tables' with Anthony Valentine at the Mill
at Sonning (Sept/Oct 05).
STEPHEN GREIF
Stephen is currently playing sleazy Hitler-loving producer Barney Evans in the
John Osborne revival 'An Epitaph for George Dillon' at the Comedy Theatre,
Panton Street, London W1. It stars Joseph Fiennes and Francesca Annis and is
directed by Royal Court Director Peter Gill. Box office 0870 060 6622. Stephen
plays Leonidov in a new comedy/action film 'Back in Business' along with Martin
Kemp, Chris Barrie, Brian Blessed & Dennis Waterman, due for release early 2006.
Stephen will be appearing in the next season of 'Judge John Deed' for BBC 1,
again playing Lorne Michaels QC in the episode 'Lost Youth'. Stephen was
honoured to have been chosen as one of the 100 Alumni included in a specially
commissioned book of portraits by Cambridge Jones celebrating RADA's centenary
and entitled Off Stage. The list of portraits featured is a dazzling record of
contemporary stars from the stage and screen, including images of John Hurt,
Alan Rickman, Sir Ian Holm, Joan Collins, Imelda Staunton, June Whitfield, Ioan
Gruffud, Glenda Jackson and Jane Horrocks. With a foreword by Lord Attenborough,
the book also includes an introduction by Miranda Sawyer as well as interviews
with all the actors and is available from all good bookshops.

From 8 December to 8 January Brian will be playing the Emperor of China in
'Aladdin' at the Central Theatre, Chatham, Kent. Box Office 01634 338338
