12th September, 7.45/8pm. It's part of a series of 5 short plays about world
changing events, real or imaginary. 'Amo, Amaz, Amat' by Louise Ironside
features Gareth as a Cardinal . Story: In 1884 the Vatican granted special
dispensation which allowed two cousins from Linz to marry.

PAUL DARROW
Paul has recorded the narration for the pilot of a new quiz series for C4 -
'Friday Night Hero'.

STEPHEN GREIF
Stephen is currently rehearsing a John Osborne revival "Epitaph for George
Dillon" opening at the Comedy Theatre, Panton Street, W1 from 20th September. It
stars Joseph Fiennes and Francesca Annis and is directed by Royal Court Director
Peter Gill. Box office 0870 060 6622

Play: Osborne s domestic and political drama of hope and disillusionment is set
in a lower middle class household in South London. The Elliots live their
unhappy suburban life until Kate Elliot brings home a surrogate for her son
killed in war, the charismatic and bohemian George Dillon. He is an aspiring
actor and penniless writer recently freed from the constraints of employment,
his fall cushioned by the kindness and generosity of Kate Elliot.

Brian plays Charlie in an episode of BBC1's daytime soap 'Doctors' - episode
'Beyond the Grave' at 2pm on Wednesday 7th September.

From 8 December to 8 January Brian will be playing the Emperor of China in

DEEP ROY
Deep Roy (Decima, The Klute, Moloch and a Link) can be seen - with the help of
some impressive CGI work - as all the Oompa Loompas in the Tim Burton remake of
'Charlie & the Chocolate Factory' starring Johnny Depp.

OBITUARY - MICHAEL SHEARD
Sadly, we have lost another B7 guest star - Michael Sheard (Klegg in
'Powerplay') has died of cancer aged 65 on 31st August. Michael was a larger
than life character, who loved meeting and interacting with his fans and will be
greatly missed by his many fans. He is survived by his wife and son to whom we
offer our deepest sympathy.

Michael was best known for playing teacher Mr Bronson in 'Grange Hill' and
Admiral Ozzel in 'Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back'. He played
Hitler five times and Himmler three times - but said playing Goering's double in
sitcom 'Allo 'Allo was his worst performance. Other film appearances included
'Raiders of the Lost Ark', 'All Quiet On The Western Front' and 'The Dirty Dozen
- Second Assignment'. Numerous TV appearances include parts in 6 different
episodes of 'Doctor Who', as well as 'Z-Cars', 'Dixon of Dock Green', 'The
Tomorrow People', 'Auf Wiedersehen, Pet'. You can find a full biography,
interviews, photos, etc. at the official Michael Sheard website at
