GARETH THOMAS
Gareth will again be playing Charles McAllister in a second series of the
comedy drama 'Distant Shores' starring Peter Davison. Gareth has been told
he'll be in all six episodes. Filming starts at the beginning of June and goes
on until mid-October, although Gareth won't be filming the entire time.
PAUL DARROW
Paul has just finished writing his autobiography, which is with his editor and
due for publication soon.
MICHAEL KEATING
Michael will be playing a bank worker who ends up in jail for embezzlement in a
corporate training video for Lloyds TSB.
STEPHEN GREIF
Stephen recently completed filming on 'Space Race' for the BBC, which was filmed
in Romania. He will also be appearing in the next season of 'Judge John Deed'
for BBC 1, again playing Lorne Michaels QC.
OBITUARY - JOHN BENNETT
Sadly, actor John Bennett, who played Coser in the episode 'Weapon', died on
11th April 2005, aged 76. His many TV credits include two 'Doctor Who' roles -
General Finch in 'Invasion of the Dinosaurs in 1974, and Li H'Sen Chang in 'The
Talons of Weng Chiang' in 1977, as well as roles in 'Survivors', 'Z-Cars', '
Dixon of Dock Green', 'Casualty', 'The Avengers', 'The Forsyte Saga', 'I
Claudius', 'Anna Karenina' and 'Hitler - the Last Ten Days' as Josef Goebbels.
In 1967 he played the leading role of Billy Bush in one of TV's first soaps,
'Market in Honey Lane'. Amongst his screen credits were 'A Funny Thing Happened
on the way to the Forum', 'The House that Dripped Blood', 'Henry VIII and his
Six Wives' and the award winning 'The Pianist' in which he played Dr Ehrlich.
