PAST EVENTS
SEASON 2 DVD LAUNCH and SEASON 3 RELEASE
The S2 launch event on 16th January was well attended and very much enjoyed by
all. The cast enjoyed watching their 'alter egos' in the special screening of
'Blake's Junction 7' which was followed by a Q&A panel with the BJ7 team, and
then by the seven B7 cast members present (Gareth Thomas, Jan Chappell, Michael
Keating, Jacqueline Pearce, David Jackson, Peter Tuddenham and Brian Croucher).
After the main signing session the attending fans were able to chat to all the
guests in a very relaxed atmosphere. Attendees wishing to have their photograph
taken with a guest made a voluntary donation to the Asian Tsunami Appeal Fund
and £25 raised on the day has been sent off to the Disasters Emergency
Committee.
We hope to have a DVD and/or video available of the event available shortly,
which will include the on-stage panels plus exclusive individual interviews with
all 7 cast members as well as the Blake's Junction 7 writer Tim Plester and
director Ben Gregor, plus Mat Irvine (Special Effects Designer), A.J. 'Mitch'
Mitchell (Electronic Effects Supervisor) and Tony Radford (Assistant Film
Editor). If you're interested in this, please let me know by email or drop me a
line with an SAE. (and let us know if you'd prefer this on DVD, video or not
bothered.)
The anticipated release date for the S3 DVDs is 6th June 2005, which should be
confirmed by the end of February. We'd like to start taking pre-orders for S3
straight away, with a special prize draw for everyone ordering before 31st
March. Prizes will include 5 copies of the S4 DVD set, extra cast signatures on
your S3 set, & limited edition signed photo posters. BBCW have also promised us
enough of their planned limited edition sets which include the planned new Corgi
Liberator models to fill all orders received at least 2 weeks before release
date at no extra cost. Our S3 price remains the same, except for additional
postage costs (mail prices are going up in April, PLUS the weight of the
Liberator model & bigger envelope mean we need to increase the delivery price.)
Our price including UK delivery will be £38.75. Add £4.50 for UK Special
Delivery; add £4.50 for Europe delivery or £5.75 for Rest of World delivery.
Please send a cheque, payable to Horizon, to Diane Gies, Horizon, 37 Linton
Avenue, Borehamwood, Herts. WD6 4RB, or advise your credit card details. If
you've paid for the S2 DVDs by credit card you can just give me your written
permission (email is fine) and we can use these details again. We won't take
card payments until 3-4 weeks before the official release date, so if your card
expires before then please ensure you give us the new date and any new issue
number. If you pay by cheque, we will cash these on receipt. For confirmation
of receipt of payment, please provide an email contact address or an SAE.
Following the success of the S2 launch we are planning an event for S3 - more
news on that when the release date has been confirmed at the end of the month.
(Anyone attending can of course collect their S3 DVD on the day.)

DVDs (won in the S1 launch draw), fully signed by all 7 attending S2 cast
members - Barry Scholes, Stephen Arnett, Martin Newman, Stuart Bell (UK) and

DVDs signed by all 7 cast members are: Nicky Shipp, Jane McDonald, Laurence

GARETH THOMAS - THEATRE OUTING
A group of fans met up with Diane at the Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh to see
the evening performance of 'Look Back in Anger' in which Gareth plays The
Colonel. It's a powerful play, and very well acted. Gareth met up with us all
in between the afternoon and evening shows, then aga in after the play finished.
Anyone still wanting to see the show - it's still at Edinburgh until Saturday
12th February, or you can see it at the Royal Theatre, Bath from 14//19th
February.
