DESTINY CONVENTION – Easter weekend - celebrating Blake’s 7’s 25th anniversary,
and Doctor Who’s 40th at the Northampton Moat House this weekend – 19/20 April
2003. Guests from both shows will be there – including from Blake’s 7 Jacqueline
Pearce (Servalan) – Saturday only, David Maloney (Producer S1-3), Mat Irvine
(Special Effects), June Hudson (Costume Designer), Julian Glover (Kayn from
‘Breakdown’), Stewart Bevan (Max in ‘Death Watch’) plus DW guests Colin Baker
(6th Doctor), Nick Courtney (The Brigadier), Anthony Ainley (The Master), Bonnie
Langford (Mel), Terry Molloy (Davros) and more.
Blake’s 7 Surprise – A surprise addition to Sunday’s programming will be of
particular interest to B7 fans…
Destiny Special Events: Doctor Who: Talons of Weng Chiang theatre tour – first
tour leaves hotel 9.45am, Saturday 19th April. Scenes from this classic Tom
Baker story were filmed in Northampton, most notably at the Theatre Royal which
portrayed the Palace Theatre in the story. For a small additional fee Destiny
Attendees will be able to undertake a guided tour of this interesting location.
Places are limited to just 80, and you’ll need to book your ticket – see the
website for further details. Plus Saturday night premiere of ‘Déjà vu of the
Doctors’ – the play you’ll want to see again, and again, and again, and again…..
Regular programme includes panels, autographs, photos with the stars, dealers
room, Saturday night disco.
