FYI New Members: There is a site called Top Dog City where fans can dedicate  construct a building for their favorite celebrity, tv show, or favorite character, by adding bricks.  The Pretender is no exception.  

It works like this.  You click on a building you want to add a brick, then click the "add brick" link.  You fill-in the information:

Name:  Your real name or fake (DO NOT PUT YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS). This name will appear on your brick

Your Message: 25 characters or less (DO NOT PUT YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS)

Your E-mail address:  Top Dog City will send you an e-mail to verify your e-mail address.  Once you verify your e-mail address, your brick will be added to the building.

Before we proceed, here are some good news..just in case you haven't heard!! All
four seasons of The Pretender and the Pretender movies DVDs have been released
in the US! Get your copies today!! In the US you can also watch The Pretender on
hulu.com a brand new website featuring current and past TV series. If you can't
afford to buy the DVDs yet, you can try to win one in the upcoming "postcards
contest."

Description: post links on guestbooks, websites, forums, we need to get all
Pretender fans "in the loop" for this campaign. Tell them Andrea and Jamie
Denton and all the other actors already say they want to do another movie! It's
true! Even the creators are ready and willing, they just need financing

Activity 1b: Advertise campaign links in your profile/sigs/status messages/other
Status: Continuing
Description: Another easy way to spread word about the campaign is by adding the
links to the group and the campaign site to your profile and signature pages on
every possible place you go online. e.g. I donated my sister's bio page to the
campaign on writing.com. There is a slim chance that someone who is interested
might see it but it is still there and I have also added the links to many of my
profiles and signatures. Every possible thing we can do to advertise the
campaign will help to bring in the numbers we need to convince the PTBs we are
serious.

confirmation of pledges, but we can discuss this in the group to make a final

Description: We emailed the PTBs on these certain days because IOTH was airing
on TNT then and we wanted to remind the PTBs that we have not forgotten and
still want our third movie to complete the Pretender trilogy. There are sample

email. Now that TNT has taken tP off the schedule, it's up to ppl around the
world to notify fans of airings on different networks so we can write them AND
the PTBs too....to let them know that some people are watching!

Activity 10: Pretender "gift" emails

Description: Pretender "gift" emails to
the PTBs. We will start emailing pics of different items related to the
Pretender on a weekly basis, one week PEZ, another week Cracker Jack, another
week Mr Potatohead etc.
These weekly emails will help to remind the PTBs that we still want a third
movie. We can include anything along with the picture, a letter, or maybe just a
quote from the show.
For this activity we need everyone to submit pictures of the gift items we will
email so that we can share in the group. There will be albums in the photo
section where you can upload them to share.

the PTBs must recognise that we are serious about our "campaign for closure"

This may be our best chance at getting our dream of a third Pretender movie,
so we must either overwhelm Oprah with our numbers or with our passion and
determination. There is no pledging required to do the hookup so tell
all Pretender people, if there is one thing you must do for the
cause, this has to be it. The special Hookup day is May 13th for new
submissions!! So get ready and if you haven't posted a Harpo Hookup story
before, find out about it so you will know what to do.
