Re: [Fantasia_Barrino] Re: Fantasia on Idol?
Hello!
I purchased 2 orchestra seat tickets for Fantasia on May 5th about 10 hours after they went on sale and got lucky! I'll be 6 rows from the stage dead center.. I'm so excited, can't wait till September here in Chicago to see her! I encourage everyone to get a ticket.

I was unaware that Simon spoke out against her last Idol performance. Where the hell was I? She worked that stage and that red hair with Bore Me. Maybe that is why she rid herself of Idol management. That is f'd up, especially when you are a guest. Simon always says things that he really don't mean and I bet you his saving her from losing her home was his way of saying he was sorry. He is such an ass at times. Anyway, y'alll know that she is touring with The Color Purple after it leaves DC. You can get tickets at ticketmaster.com. I already have my tickets for September when she will be in Atlanta. The day after they went on sale, all of the orchestra seats (high priced seats) for both weekends were already sold out. If she is coming to a city near you I'm sure it will be a must see performance. The youtube videos I have been watching of her on
Broadway still gives me chills.

I am glad she didn't perform on Idol, after the way she was rudely bashed, criticised, and ridiculed after her last performance - especially by Simon - she was, after all, a guest. I hope she separates herself as far away from Idol as she can. There were some guest performances this year that were way far more over-the-top than hers was (Lady Ga Ga especially comes to mind) I doubt if Simon went running around squawking "What was THAT? I didn't know what the hell THAT was" like he did about Fantasia. And people acted like it was the end of the world just because she had died her hair red. OMG she has red hair, buildings are going to collapse. It's OK for Allison Iraheta, Amy Adams (season 3), Vanessa Olivarez (season 2), Nikki McKibbon (season 1), and Annie Lennox though.
