Some people just have no sense of humor!  I lost two twitter friends in Houston
when I sent them a link to this.  Personally - I am on the fence whether it is
funny or just plain mean what the cover says.  I take a cue from Justin - he
poked fun at himself on a Superbowl commercial.  I think Justin is tremendously
talented, and enjoy his music, his movie, and his acting as much as any other
new star.  Mad Magazine is something I used to subscribe to many years ago - but
I noticed they were starting to NOT lampoon the left as they did the right,
which is a clear indication they were becoming more and more leftist in their
slant.  A satire magazine should spread the pain equally to both sides -
something Punch Magazine managed to do throughout its run.  So I quit the
subscription, and may soon sell off my vintage copies going back to issue 83.

So, for my two friends - who probably will never subscribe to this list:  I'm
sorry.  I didn't know the cover of Mad would offend you.  But your anger should
be directed at Mad, not me for telling you about it.  That's all - except I'd
really like to have a couple of really cool Twitter friends to replace them,
especially ones in the Houston area where I can meet their parents (the real
payoff for me in all this blogging about family TV).

My opinion of Justin Beiber has been shaken a bit lately, obscene gestures, etc.
I understand everybody makes mistakes, and his are no worse than anybody else's,
but there are more polite ways one can express one's displeasure.  Especially if
you are a Christian believer.  And have Justin and Selena been seen going to
church together?  And then, there is the matter of how some of his fans here in
Houston have treated me.  Not very Christlike.  But that isn't Justin's fault. 
Funny thing is, I was going to talk with him the next chance I have about doing
something special for them, because they are such big fans and were nice to my
daughter.  Not any more - my own daughter is more deserving of meeting him.

the Houston Rodeo.  And after her performance, she got into a truck and passed

The information came from Brandon - he may only know what the cast knows. 
filming started in January for the new season.  Demi missed so many episodes
that there may be a string of "So Random"s.  Maybe a whole season of them.  Or
Demi may come back for the remainder of the season (if any episodes are left to
film).  Or may come back if there is another season.  Definitely an interesting
situation --- two high profile Disney shows end this year (Hannah and Wizards),
two others crater (Jonas and Sonny - although the jury is not in yet on the
ratings without the title character).  And the venerable Suite Life franchise -
how long can it keep sailing?  But the bright spots are Shake It Up and Good
Luck Charlie.  Disney needs to get ANT Farm on the air, and speed up other new
projects I can't talk about.  No non-disclosure agreement or anything, I just
don't want to get some people in trouble.

Disney has one break - Nick's change of direction to action with Supah Ninjas
and Power Rangers Samurai - what ARE they thinking????  Those shows haven't made
a dent in the ratings.  They seriously need to tap every ounce of creativity Dan
Schneider and Scott Fellows can muster, or Disney will catch their breath and
end up dominant again.
