DH IS…..!?!?!

Wow! Watching Desperate Housewives is such a THRILL! I love it more
than any other tv show currently on air! DH is MORE than a guilty
pleasure...it's a fine drama with quality writing, direction &
acting. Is DH a drama? A comedy? A dramedy? Who knows? Anyways, if u
blink while watching DH, or God forbid, miss a show (!!!!!), u miss A
LOT!

While watching the Jan. 16th show (and all others), I noticed some
things that DON'T add up:
1- What's going on with Juantia Solis? Is she still in a coma?
2- Where's John? Is he tired of having sex with Gabrielle?
3- When Susan went to Felicia to inquire about her setting Edie's
house ablaze, Susan introduced herself as MRS. Mayer. Susan IS
divorced from Karl Mayer; why is she all of a sudden Mrs. Mayer?
4- Edie, too, introduced herself as Mrs. Britt, even though she's
divorced. Why would she do that?
5- Mike looks like he remodeled his house- it looks very different
from past scenes. Didn't his house have a front porch? Last night's
ep had no front porch
6- Where's Mike's dog?
7- Notice how Brenda Strong (Mary Alice Young) is mysteriously absent
from the media buzz surrounding DH? She is, if not, the most
important character on the show. Mary Alice is like the thread that
binds the majority of characters together. Mary Alice has only
appeared twice on DH.
8- On the Jan. 9 ep, the missing persons flier for Mrs. Huber
indictes Wisteria Lane is located in Fairview, Eagle State, 29102, in
area code 456. ZIP code 29102 is Manning, SC, and area code 456 is
not currently in use. I assumed Wisteria Lane was located in
Fairview, California.
9- Did Rex really have an affair with Maisy Gibbons or is he hiding
something else? When Bree went to Maisy's home in the Dec. 19 ep,
Maisy said that Rex had needs. Bree then asked if those needs were
sexual, and Maisy responded with a grin. Does Maisy's grin confirm
Rex adultery?
10- When DH began on Oct. 3, she had 4 kids- all boys (3 triplets & 1
baby- a baby is age 23 months or younger, remember?) Then all of a
sudden, Lynette has 2 twin boys, a boy that's about 1 year younger
than the twins, and a baby GIRL?
11- When Bree was in Dr. Albert Goldfine's office, she took a tape
that consisted of Mary Alice's therapy session with the doctor. What
does the tape reveal?
12- Lynette kicks a Ritalin addiction in about 2 wks? Is that
possible?
13- When the police find the box of human remains that Paul
discarded, it's known that the remains are that of a young woman.
Who's the woman?
14- There are so many missing/dead people: Mary Alice (of course!);
Dana, the baby that Zach said he killed; Mrs. Martha Huber, who was
killed by Paul; Dierde, was involved with Mike; the mysterious man's
daughter, he hired Mike to find out who killed her
15- What happened to Kendra?
16- Why did Mike break into Mrs. Fome's place?
17- When Juanita is telling Gabrielle about her past while knitting,
she said that God helped her find a way to protect Carlos from his
abusive father. Did she kill her husband?
18- In the Dec. 3 ep, Karl is speaking to Susan in her driveway is is
scratching himself repeatedly. Anyone noticed that?
19- When Gorge Williams sits himself down to dinner, he inserts a
tape of the pharmacy security camera in which he's talking to Bree.
As he's eating, Mary Alice's monologue says "Some of us spend our
entire lives watching from the sidelines." Has he been stalking Bree?
20- I read somewhere on a website that Edie has a son. Where is he?
21- Edie is serial divorcee; she's been married three times. Where
are her ex's?
22- Was it secretly implied that Gabrielle was molested by her step-
father?

The Ladies of Desperate Housewives
Between Teri Hatcher referring to herself as a ''has-been'' and
Felicity Huffman getting caught ''schmoozing with Diane Sawyer''
instead of reading the TelePrompTer, the stars of Desperate
Housewives emanated a charming, winning glow all night — even when
they weren't collecting statuettes. By the time series creator Marc
Cherry picked up the Best Comedy prize with a series of bizarre
anecdotes (''Then the best thing happened to me: My agent was
arrested for embezzlement!''), it was hard not to turn off NBC's
Globes coverage — and tune in to the Desperate shenanigans over on
ABC.

I remember last year you could catch Sunday's episode of Desparate
Housewives on the following Saturday if you were so unfortunate to
miss it.

I do not see a listing for it and I missed it on Sunday, 1/9/05!!!
Does anyone know if they air "reruns", and if so, when?

FOR Desperate Housewives

WHY? It's so hard to pick a standout among the four leading actresses
on the new ABC hit comedy/nighttime soap, so the Globe voters
nominated all of them… almost. Not that Cross (as brittle homemaking
queen Bree), Hatcher (as klutzy, Bridget Jones-esque Susan), and
Huffman (as frazzled mom Lynette) aren't all deserving, but where's
Eva Longoria (more of a supporting role?)? Is she being punished for
the actions of her ambivalent adulteress Gabrielle? Is it because
Longoria is the only Housewife who missed a meet-and-greet luncheon
with the voters? (That's the theory espoused by Longoria, who said
she had to attend to an ailing relative; however, the Hollywood
Foreign Press Association has denied that Longoria's absence
influenced the nominations.) Even costar Nicolette Sheridan earned a
supporting actress nomination, so what gives? Maybe the voters simply
ran out of gas three quarters of the way down Wisteria Lane.

ABC is earning good grades due to the success of a rejuvanated Monday
Night Football, steady ratings for Accroding To Jim & Rodney, the

Now that the once distant fourth net has building blocks to lead its

I was hoping on getting a conversation on if Mary is dead or not in
Death being an inconvenience for Television Land instead of a
reality.  Cross-over Other Topic: Yes, Guys and Gals that is a sign
that I am a ALIAS fan - if you look at the Episode guide on official
site http://abc.go.com/alias - you will see that Death is just an
inconvenience on ALIAS!  Dark Shadows - Angelique, the witch, would
tell you that Death is just an inconvenience to her -- especially

if Desperate Housewives would take on a Supernatural flavor (being a
SciFi Fan) but it will probably only remain a dark comedy satire on
Middle-class Surburbs!  Did Mary stage her death to protect her son,

Desperate Housewives Comments and Wish-List Ideas

Forgive me I not good on names so will give descriptions of the
characters on Desperate Housewives instead - you should all know who
I am referring to...

I think the perfectionist-compulsive cleaner housewive seems the most
intelligent of the housewives even though she is looked down on and
appears to be a bit like a stepford wife.

The Spanish-oriented couple and Mother-in-Law give comic relief to
the morbid theme surrounding DH.

The Mysterious Plummer and new Detective from "Legacy" western that
had Larry Hagman in it on the last episode of DH are both 'Easy-on-
the-Eyes'

The Dead Housewive gives mystery to the narration "wishlist idea"
maybe they can use her as a ghost-spirit presence on the show as well
as having Flashbacks of her.

Wish-list Ideas Surroung Young Lover Boy for the Young Adult
Generation:

Well for the young Adult crowd they could have the young-lover-boy of
the Spanish-oriented housewife be found-out by the husband and the
husband is out to destroy him so he goes into hiding and becomes a
male stripper in clubs and has an affair with the Desperate Housewife
whose house burnt down because she doesn't have anything going with
the Plummer.  Young-lover-boy comes back from time to time to
Desperate Housewives Surburbs for revenge on the Spanish-oriented
Housewife and the Housewife having an affair with the Mysterious
Plummer for ratting on him.
