Somebody is again trying to phish for your info. There is an e-mail addressed to YAHOO! users, saying that if you refuse to "confirm" your account, inccluding such info as your password, your account will be deleted. My tip-off was that the YAHOO! logo is nowhere to be seen on the letter.
YAHOO! will tell you, and I will attest to the fact, that you will NEVER be asked for your personal info, including your password. I fell for one phishing expedition involving PayPal a few years back. Luckily I found out in time to tell PayPal that the transaction was NOT authorized by me. They put the money on hold, then I got it back after they investigated. Age is a number that tells how long you have lived in this world, not how to live in it. Larry Bromley good day! |
