Movie database, but I couldn't find his name in the credits.  I saw him in

Hey, I've seen power play.  It has turnbull as one of the main charactors.  It's
a very good show and I tape it when I can.

Another show that has a DS charactor in it is 'My life as a Dog' and that
co-stars CKR.  It is a really cute series with lots of those kodac moment shots.
I tape that one all the time too.
Anyway, I can't remeber when it's on (hard day, my brain isn't functioning) but
if you catch it, watch it!

No problem.  Paul Gross (yeah, it is pronounced like Gross income ie
Grawss!) is married to actress Martha Burns, who appeared in the DS episodes
Spy vs Spy (as Nada the Russian spy type person) and again in Call of the
Wild as Caroline Fraser.  They have two children, Hannah, 8, and Jack, 4.
David Marciano is married to actress Katayoun Amini, who played Ray's
ex-wife Angie in a couple of Season one/two episodes.  Their daughter is
called Ariana Grace.

Jennifer, I think Callum's name is pronounced "Renny", as that's how he said
it on a UK interview.

As for Alliance Communications (now Alliance-Atlantis), their new venture is
an ice-hockey series called "Power Play" shown on Canadian TV.  It stars
Gordon Pinsent (Fraser sr. in due South) and also Dean McDermott (Constable
Turnbull in DS).  I haven't seen it, but has anyone else?  If so, did you
enjoy it?

Plau Gross pronounces his name like net gain, "gross income". im noy sure
about David but Paul his a wife and a daughter, and a son (niether of the

    To my knowledge, Gross is pronounced exactly the way it looks, as you put it
like gross income
(anyone correct me if I am mistaken).  And, yes, both Paul & David are married
with families of
their own.  I know Paul has two children, and David has a daughter and his wife
is expecting to
give birth around the time of this year's RCW convention (early August).  Hope

Does anyone know if the production company that made DS, or even some of the
writers that produced it, have made other tv shows? What did they do after
DS ended. Some company's go on to other projects.

  And PG does have a family. A wife, and I believe one daughter....

I can't really comment on Toronto, as I don't know the city, but I do
like a little bit of an escape by going to the city.  Living here in
Scotland, I do live in the country, but since it's so small, you're
never less than an hour away from a big city.  I'll always be a more
at home when I can see hills and countryside <g>, but I have to say
that you have to go to a city to buy DS videos ;o)

I almost forgot that PG will be 40 on Friday (and forgot that I left
a message on William and Elyse's page!), going to go and make a
birthday page on my web site for him.  If any of you guys want your
name put on it, just let me know by tomorrow.  See y'all!

About Toronto, I like it there to a certain extent.  It's where a lot of stuff
happens but I can't really say anything else because I personally havn't been
there.  DS episodes that are filmed there are awesome anyway.  As for Canada, I
love it!  That may be affected by the fact that I am Canadian but I live all the
way in Edmonton, Alberta, far from toronto.

I didn't know there was a DS conference!  I must really be behind on things.

Rowan, wish I could.  I live in Scotland, and this year I'll be
