WOW! The Convention is coming up rapidly! Barely two months, and
we'll finally meet in Toronto. It's going to be great – I can't
wait to meet you all!

Now, what happened during the last month? Two more actresses have
accepted to be present at the Convention – Ms. Vida Peric and Ms.
Lucia Jackson. Please check out our "Honoured Guests" section for
more details.

Also, I discussed with some actors and their representatives, and
most actors from the main cast of the series have accepted to sign
various items for the charity auction and the raffles. Don't miss
your chance to go back home with a one-of-a-kind prize, autographed
by your favourite actor / actress! Some raffles will be available
online, but some other raffles and the live auction will be
accessible only to those attending the Convention. Don't forget,
all the money raised through the sale of raffle tickets and the live
auction will be donated to charities involved in the Deaf Community
in Ontario, in the name of the Cast and Crew of Sue Thomas F.B.Eye.
Stay tuned, more information on the raffles should be posted soon.

The schedule is beginning to shape up. The first edition of the Sue
Thomas F.B.Eye Fan Convention will be launched on Friday evening
(September 21). There will be various activities on Saturday
afternoon (September 22), and in the evening, there will be booths
dedicated to the actors and characters, and the night will conclude
with the live auction. There are no specific plans for Sunday, but
we can make some, according to everyone's interest – brunch at the
hotel's restaurant, sightseeing in the area, etc.

Registration will close on August 31, 2007, so hurry up if you don't
want to miss your chance of meeting Ms. Sue Thomas in person, since
she will be one of our honoured guests. The hotel has offered us a
great rate for the group, but the rooms have to be booked before
August 21 in order to get the discounted rate.

If you know anyone who might be interested, don't hesitate and
forward this information to them. If you think it might interest
people from other boards, please feel free to spread the word.
