My Report on Constantine in “Jesus Christ Superstar”
By Lea Goad
I really liked this musical. This was my first time seeing the Musical. And it
was my first time seeing Constantine in a Musical. I had missed the others he
had done. I was very impressed and very touched on how Constantine had brought
this character on life. And how this man was tormented on how he was chosen to
do such an terrible act; as if he had been specially chosen for it, before hand.
Before the show I had talked to the guy that played Jesus. And found out that
not only was this the first time, him and Constantine had done this play
together. But that they had been friends for nine years.
The theater itself was housed inside an all boy’s school. I am guessing since
it had dorms, it was either a college or a boarding school. But during the
summer it acts as a basketball camp for boys and girls from grade school to high
school. Since I was seeing the show before I had to head back and catch the
plane in Philly. I had brought all my stuff with me and had spent the day
watching kids do basket ball drills. This gave me a chance to talk to some of
the locals.
