NYC's Big Apple Con proudly announces its own tribute to the Dark Shadows legacy, featuring five of the gothic series splendid actresses: Kathryn Leigh Scott, Denise Nickerson, Diana Millay, Marie Wallace, and Nancy Barrett! Held April 1-2-3, Fri-Sat-Sun, at the Penn Plaza Pavilion, 401 7th Ave at 33rd St, NYC.

2pm: Dark Shadows panel hosted by Peter Sanderson
6pm: Mark Goddard/ David Hedison interviewed by Zorikh Lequidre
7pm: Dark Shadows Nancy Barrett talks Cabaret
Saturday:
11am: "Shadows on Stage": The DS actresses discuss their theatre work" featuring Marie Wallace, Denise Nickerson, Kathryn Leigh Scott and Diana Millay. Moderated by NYU theatre professor Joe Salvatore.
3pm: Big Apple Con Costume Contest!
Sunday:
10am: "Shadow Books" Kathryn Leigh Scott and Craig Hamrick discuss the books they've written and edited, including "The Dark Shadows
Almanac,"
"Dark Shadows Memories," "The Dark Shadows Collectibles Book," and "Barnabas & Company." Moderated by Peter Sanderson.
10:30am: Dark Shadows Denise Nickerson discusses being the Blueberry Girl in the children's classic Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
11am: "TV Talk" Dark Shadows Marie Wallace discusses her upcoming book and stage career with Joe Salvatore.

The Big Apple Con is the East Coast’s Largest comic book, sci-fi, fantasy, anime, media,& pop culture convention. There’s going to be over 100 movie and TV stars, comic book artists, writers, editors, celebrity guests, and special surprises! Some of the guests include Geoffrey Holder (Baron Samedi “Live and Let Die,” Tony Award-winning director and costume designer of “the Wiz”), David Hedison (Capt. Lee B. Crane from "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea," Arthur Hendricks from "The Young and the Restless," Felix Leiter of "Live and Let Die" and "License to Kill,"), Mark Goddard (Major Donald West of "Lost in Space"), Sergio Aragones (Mad Magazine, Groo the Wanderer), Joe Simon (creator of Captain America), Kevin Eastman (“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”), Jerry Robinson (creator of Robin and the Joker), Cindy Morgan (“Tron,” “Caddyshack”), Dr. William Foster
with a panel discussion on Blacks in comics, Maureen Shea (Hillary Swank's trainer for "Million Dollar Baby"), two female Jedi and one female bounty hunter from the recent “Star Wars” movies, pro wrestlers such as ECW's The Sandman and Francine, "The Queen of Extreme,” and lots, lots more!
There will also be over 300 dealer tables selling and trading all sorts of merchandise (plenty of toys, DVD's, comics, and memorabilia). This will be in New York City, at the Penn Plaza Pavilion on 33rd St and 7th Ave, right across the street from Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. There will also be an after party at Club Suede on 23rd St between 6th and 7th Ave Sunday night starting at 10 PM. There will be drink specials the first hour, free buffet, live music by Zorikh Lequidre, and hot DJ's!
