Re: Hello, new here.
Thank you all for the welcome.
As kids, we took it as serious as judges, but my dad would turn red
from laughing. Now I know why.
I used the library scheme to get ahold of the dvds.
Libraries are allotted so many dollars a year to get books, dvd,
etc., but librarians have told me that they would love for people to
request things, because they run out of ideas of what to buy, with
the following exception; They were prefer the item requested at least
cost more than the cost of going through the forms- so that 2.95
paperback would be looked down on, but a $60.00 set of dvds is
welcomed.
Also, if they don't spend the money that's allotted, it might get
taken away, so they would prefer the higher priced items to on their
shelves. The person requesting the items is the first on the reserve
list at my library, and I suspect it's pretty much the same allover.
So I did my bit to help the local library, and filled out the request
form with the email address of the Dark Shadows dvd sets.
What an exhausting post.
I must get a brandy so that I may lurk around the house in a robe, as
long as I don't go to sleep. No, even at 3AM, it's business as usual,
calling people over to the house, finding children running amok, etc.

going to break down & fork out the $50-odd to get them. Right now, I
have to watch the show on tapes I made off its run on the Sci Fi
Channel. Needless to say, if you thought the production values were
bad on DS, they've got nothin' on my collection of recorded and re-
recorded VHS. I've been able to burn my own DVDs of other shows, but
the Great Evil of the Universe (i.e., network television programmers)
refuse to run my beloved DS on any channel right now, so I'm still
waiting to get the episodes on DVD.
