It seems I never have any time to do much outside of dealing with my baby's
doctors & therapists (he has some developmental delays in addition to his heart
problem), so these are just some observations over the past few weeks. Hope you
enjoy:

1. If you ever need to scam prescription drugs from a doctor, don't send Chris
Jennings to do it for you. His attempts to get sleeping pills from Julia were
hilarious. Smooth operator, there!
2. However, Julia IS the doctor you should go to for a script. Ethics?! We don't
need no stinking ethics! I guess the DEA wasn't so hard on doctors back then,
huh? As my husband said, just make sure she's not looking for bodies for some
unspeakable experiment.
3. Keep Amy away from all dirty laundry. I loved her explanation for burning
Chris's bloody shirt--it was dirty!
4. Does every drawer in Collinwood have a loaded gun in it? "Here, troubled
child, have a loaded firearm!" You'd think that given the fact that David has
tried to kill his dad--twice--they just might lock up the guns. I was raised
around guns in the '70s, and locked gun cabinets were the rule.
5. Let's get liquored up! I love that the cure for any mental or physical
ailment is to make a drink. Julia's medical opinion seems to be that alcohol is
the cure-all, as she seems to be the leading proponent of the "fix-her-a-drink"
prescription. Head trauma? Fix her a drink. Hysteria? Fix her a drink.
6. Bossy Barnabas. Julia seems to be the perfect coatrack for Barnabas. Whenever
he walks into a room, he immediately hands her his cane to take care. Of course,
that's when he's not telling her, "Don't ask questions--just do as I say!"
7. The oily corpse. Those close-ups of Liz in her coffin were a bit too close,
if ya know what I mean. I've never seen a corpse with an oilier T-zone.

Take care all,
Kim
