Aras still tries to convince us that he played with integrity. Danielle doesn't regret her decision.
Renee got to interview Aras. She congratulated him & he thanked her. She said he can do better than that. He just won a million dollars. He said it is awesome & overwhelming & it hasn't sunk in yet. He has been freeloading off his dad. He is sure his dad is happy & has more space in the house now.
Renee said last night he beat Danielle at Tribal Council 5-2. Was he confident he would beat her? Aras said he knew he had a chance to beat her. Going into Tribal Council he had no idea how the vote would go cuz there was a lot of unknowns. How was Courtney & Shane going to vote? Sally & Austin were question marks in his head. It ended up going his way but it could have easily gone the other way.
Renee said he pushed Danielle so hard though. She said Terry when you look back on it was kind of like a little bit laid back & whatever you say. Aras said Terry was soft sell & he was hard sell & looking back on it, he feels a little bad that he pressed so hard but you're out there & you do what you gotta do & can apologize now or later.
Renee said he & Terry had this incredible rivalry through the entire game so here it is the young buck & the 40-ish fighter pilot. She said he is a yoga instructor & she was surprised to see that ire come out of him. She thought he would be centered & calm. He said he does teach yoga but doesn't try to pretend he's a yogi cuz he's not & he's learning & sometimes he gets competitive & sometimes he really wants to beat Terry & most of the time Terry beats him. You learn from it & that is the wonderful thing about `Survivor' that you learn a lot. A 46-year-old buck can still beat him pretty bad. Renee said Terry won every Individual Immunity Challenge. She asked where did that rivalry come from? Aras said they are both really competitive & wanted to win. Terry was in a tough spot cuz he didn't have the numbers & Aras did & then Aras was in a tough spot & kept getting beat & he didn't like that. Aras said it ended up being so cool cuz they really do have a great relationship now. Terry is an amazing guy & an amazing family man. Aras is honored to be in a rivalry with him.
Renee wanted to talk about the lily pad challenge last night cuz Danielle did kind of give him a nod like she would take him to Final 2 & then she waffled a little bit. Would he have done that if he had known she was going to vacillate. Aras said Danielle was going to beat him regardless. He was wobbling so he jumped. Had he knows he would have tried a little harder to stay on but she probably would have beaten him anyway.
Renee said Shane said some really nasty things last night. Aras said he took some shots. Renee said Shane was an equal opportunity offender. He talked about Aras freeloading. Why was he so angry? Aras said he got voted out & some people take it with a grain of salt & some handle it pretty immaturely & will let Renee decide which Shane did. Give me a friggin break. Is he trying to say if Danielle had cut him last night he would have been all sweet about it? I just loathe this guy. Aras said that Shane is a good guy too & everybody handles things their way & decompresses the way they need to & this is the way Shane decided to do it. I loved the way Shane handled it. Aras & Danielle both f*cked him & he has every right to be pissed.
Renee said she had to ask about the fall he took. It looked so painful. Was it cuz of the Mimosas he was drinking. He never wears shoes on the rocks & he was then. & he had a glass in his hand & doesn't know what he was thinking. He said they didn't get to drink much of the champagne & that was a bummer.
Renee said here he is 24-years-old & is about to get his check. She hands him a real check & not a big phony one. Aras will be back the next half hour to really get the check. I guess she just taunted him with it.
Julie joined Renee for the next segment with the Final 4. They are outside & it is cold & raining. Julie wanted to start with Terry cuz she said if she was a betting woman, she would have bet on him to win this. How surprised was he that Danielle didn't take him to the Final 2. Terry was hoarse & said it was a very difficult choice for Danielle he thinks she made the best choice for her depending who was on the jury. It was a tough choice all around to look at 2 people & who should they take to the finals to beat for a million dollars. Renee said to Danielle she gave Aras a hard time earlier but he even said he gave her a hard sell & told her she would lose Cirie & his vote if she didn't choose him so is that one of the reasons she chose him? Danielle said she just figured Aras & her had both burned some bridges & Terry didn't have to vote anyone off. She thought a lot of people gained respect for Terry at the end & thought she had a better shot against Aras. That is what her gut told her & she went with it & doesn't regret it. Renee said she didn't have a better shot though. Danielle said they were both so competitive & powerful she thinks she was destined to come in 2nd & she stuck with her Casaya tribe.
Julie said Danielle called Aras manipulative & he was really leaning on her. Aras said he was super manipulative & he apologizes to her. Danielle said look where it got him.
Renee said everyone was so wowed by Cirie's transformation. She told us she didn't like leaves or bugs or the heat. Even her husband said she didn't like to be too hot or too cold. She said her transformation was remarkable. Cirie agreed & said she expected some kind of learning experience out of this but had no idea how life changing it would be for her. It has totally changed her. She has a couch for sale if anyone wants it. It has been great & she won a car, thank you GMC. Um… Thank the fans honey. GMC is getting publicity. The fans gave you the car. & she did then thank America.
Julie said this is for all of them, everyone who plays the game says it is pretty much impossible to play with integrity & win. Did Aras play with integrity? Terry said he played within his moral bounds & made choices according to the situation posed to him & thinks he did a fine job. Danielle said he played a loyal game. He is manipulative as all heck. Cirie loved him & thinks he is great & he played the game with a whole lot of integrity. He made some moves he absolutely had to but he deserves the money & she is happy for him. Aras said when he got home he was really proud of himself for playing the way he did. It is really difficult to play the game & not tell a lie. He told a couple. Ya think? Get off your high horse buddy. You did not play with integrity. Why do they say that? He played the game. Integrity was never in his game plan. Don't be ashamed of it. Own it. You lied & backstabbed & it got you the money. Nothing wrong with that. Don't try to sell us this integrity sh*t. He lied more to his Mom since coming back saying he didn't get to the Final 2. It is all a lesson, when you make a mistake you learn from it & get to watch it on tape.
Renee asked what is he going to do with his money. He is handed his check. He jokes where does he go with this. He has this company he started & will invest in that. He is wearing a really ugly hat & he said that is the company, he said a website name but I can't figure out what he said. He said the hats are really warm & said he is the only one not shivering out there. Renee asked about yoga & he said that is his passion is & he is still going to do that. Julie asked for his million dollar yoga post. He said he is honored & smiling.
