Thought the show last night was all right. Just all right. Kinda status quo.
Wonder what Elmer Olsen thinks when Jay Manuel says "i've searched the country"
when we all know it was Elmer who did the work. Getting tired of the "all Jay"
show, cause I watch to see the models and it seems to be more about Jay and he's
just not that interesting. Heard him in an interview saying he was raising the
bar. But it was just ok. Needs more excitement and better challenges, they did
the wild bird thing already on Cycle 1, that's hardly original. Then I watched
Make Me A Supermodel premiere and they were challenged to fly in a plastic box
above the ground and it was great. I think Top Model has run its course and
Make Me A Supermodel is more exciting. Plus Tyson or Jay? Please....gimme the
sexy hot dude any day.
Are we going to get a Make Me A Canadian Supermodel???
its on youtube
hard to find the parts, but they are all there, here is ep 1, part 2, you just
have to search, but this should help...it was fun...sisi was my favorite!!!
take care.

Subject: [Canadas_Next_Top_Model] Does Anyone Have Links To Download CNTM Cycle

Hi
Is there anywhere that I can download Cycle 1 of CNTM? I've tried
various searches and can only get cycle 2. I haven't tried torrents
because I can't use them. I'm from South Africa and have no way of
watching this show without downloading them myself.
Please help, I'm dying to watch it.
Thanks :)

CNTM-2
This is a message to the peeps at City...do you think we're stupid? Seriously.
The whole
cycle 2 is turning out to be a big commerical. The opening on the BT set...Dina
as
guest...sure we'll see Jeanne on FT set....why don't you throw in a Much Music
challenge and
have the final show called BRAVO! Models....then you could do a New Music photo
session....and get Ed the Sock to be a judge. The show is a joke. I'm so sick
of this season
and its just started. Was also wondering if you get the models to say "yay, we
love Doritos"
on every episode, or do you cycle that with "yay, we love shreddies" and "yay
we love D'licio
Pizza". This is NOT a show about models. This IS a show about CityTV and
Covergirl. Jay
Manuel should be ashamed to put his face on this show. Its SO tacky this
season...and
boring too.
SuzyQ
Sue u r thinking of the wrong person, the girl that sounds like a guy
and looks like a guy is Stacy and she is still a judge. I would rather
have Trisha back and Stacy gone. The show so far is not all that bad but
the girls need more meat on their bones.
Not only was Tricia Helfer a model, she was very successful. She won the
1992 Ford Models' Supermodel of the World Contest, and subsequently modeled
for fashion houses as prestigious as Ralph Lauren, Chanel, Armani, Dior,
Givenchy, Dolce and Gabbana, and many others. She has appeared on the covers
of Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Marie Claire, and Flare. As well she's smoking
hot in Battlestar Galactica.
I like Jay but I still would've preferred to see a woman host CNTM Cycle 2.
My favourite Top Model host is Lisa Butcher from Britain's Next Top Model.
She's beautiful and wore gorgeous clothes in every episode.
Ciao

What an improvement this season brings! The girls are a much better
cut of meat than the dogs they had last year... maybe the he/she judge
last year had no part in picking them? (and thank goodness she's not
on the panel anymore!) Mr. Jay is also a big improvement over Trisha
(I have trouble believing she was ever a model); he is much more
animated and knows what he's doing from all his years on ANTM. I'm
also glad to see Nole; he adds a lot. The photo shoots are already
more interesting than last year's also. This show has gone from being
a joke to being a great replacement for ANTM when it's in the off-
season! Bravo!
my problem is having a large chest. yes that may sound great and all, but i'm
not comfortable in a lot of bras, i really have to hunt them down. and shirts
and tops always have to be bigger sized to accommodate, so the style suffers.

Hi Roz,
I'm surprised that you have trouble finding clothes in your size. I'm sort
of on the cusp between size 12 and 10, working towards being an 8 by spring,
and I have no trouble finding clothes that both fit and are flattering.
It's true that model-thin girls are not representative of the real world but
fashion is about fantasy, not reality. For instance, most fashion shows that
you see don't feature haute couture designs, they showcase ready to wear
collections. I doubt we'll ever see haute couture clothes on the backs of
CNTM contestants; true haute couture garments are one-of-kind and they're a
bit pricey; in 2002 you could pick up a Chanel suit for about $40,000, give
or take $10,000. There are only about 3,000 couture clients in the world and
only ten official haute couture fashion houses.
There is an upside to this kind of extravagance. Couture clothes are tailor
made so if you ever decide to splurge on a couture garment it will fit you
-- mind you, you'd probably have to fly to Paris for the fittings but I
don't consider that a bad thing :). I'd go.
Ciao for now

I enjoy the show, I will definitely watch... I think sometime in the new year, I
hope soon! :)
To me, the idea of having ultra-thin models just isn't realistic. I mean, if
they would show women draped in these couture fashion clothing on the run-way
that look like me, I would buy those clothes. But I certainly don't think any
of those fashion shows apply to me. I watch for entertainment value. Others,
I'm sure, actually use it as a way to shop or think of how they'd like to dress.
I have the problem of having no idea where to shop for my body size (an average
12 with curves). Hmmm... well, I'm over the age limit of the show so I'll just
sit back and enjoy it. :)

far in the show. iam glad that my daughter is in bed when i watch the
show because i dont want her to think that u have to be like 6ft tall
and weigh about 80 lbs. there is alot of big women out there that r
just as pretty as a skining thing as while. that stacy to me she is
not pretty or skining and she is a modle plus she sounds like a guy.i

yes i think it'll be better. there's no issue about that. it may be in
toronto; that'd be cool (and more expected). Jay is awesome; what is his
history? Was *he* not a model? Better him than Tricia.

Do you guys think Cntm 2 will be better? Does anyone know if it be in same place
as last season? You would think it be in Toronto. Im shock that it will have a
male host. I think the host should be a model. Canada had so many top models
from Monica Schnar,Yasmeen, Linda on and on. Hope the photo shoots will be
better
