Reality TV has reduced us all to a bunch of gawking voyeurs. The producers know that the more human suffering they can capture the more $ they will make. Never mind that the Bonaduces don't have enough to worry about right now. They like all of us have real problems. They are real people. Shame on the producers for making profit off of Danny and Gretchen's pain.
That being said I must admit that I have followed the episode faithfully. A real shock to my husband who knows how much I frown on reality shows. I thought it was a sick idea when they started in Japan. I thought this country had more useful things to do than look shamelessly over someones shoulder. We are all a bunch of peeping toms!
To Danny and Gretchen,
I really am hoping you can make it. Take some PRIVATE moments and remember all the reasons you have made it this far. Danny, you are tough, but, no one is tougher than drugs and alcohol. Don't ever let them control you again. YOU deserve better than that. Gretchen, You are smart. Stand your ground. Good luck to both of you.
L.
