As some of you may know, I ride in a yearly bicycling event for the
Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Wish-A-Mile 300 helps raise money to
grant wishes for some very sick children. This year's event takes
place July 23-26, 2009. We(about 700 cyclists) ride from Traverse
City to Chelsea, Michigan - a distance of 300 miles over 3 days. This
is my fourth year being involved. From previous participation, I know
that the organization does great work, and brings joy to kids who
otherwise might not have any. Please help make the 2009 Wish-A-Mile
300 a success! My fundraising page is:
www.wam300.org
All donations are, of course, tax-deductible. :-)
Thanks!

Sadly, it appears not.

In the penultimate episode, Alan said something about setting up on his own, in
the first instance - doing pro bono cases by the sound of it.
Is this a hint towards a spin-off? 8-)
Best wishes,
Alph - more in hope than expectation.

You mean fanfiction.net? If you do put the story up there, could you
post a link here, or your user name so we can read it?

My husband and I have just collaborated on a Boston Legal story that
stars Leonard Nimoy as an old law school friend of Denny's. We threw
in every reference to Star Trek that we could think of, along with
cameos from several other ST actors and actresses. I'm dying to post
it where it will be read and appreciated by both BL and ST fans. But
when I tried to log onto the Boston Legal Fan Fiction site on the links
section, I got shut out.
Does anybody here know where else I can go to post this story?
Meanwhile, I'm going to try putting it on www.fanfiction.com and see if
it gets any notice.

William Shatner was on the Craig Ferguson show last night (7 Jan 2009)
so I captured it and uploaded it this morning. He talks about his new
show on the Biography channel, of course, but the story he relates
about his intimate encounter with a monk seal in Hawaii over the
holidays had me rolling!
You can download it here

I have a number of memories of BL, but the top memory is of Denny
and Alan on the balcony talking about the Red Sox World Series
victory. (YES!!!) Since they were the only Boston-based show
remaining, it is a moment that will long be cherished by Boston fans,
both Legal and Red Sox.

FX is currently rerunning the Practice. Twice a week at 7am and 8am
on Saturdays - except for this week, where it's 7 am on Saturday and
again on Sunday
They are in the middle of season six right now
I noticed the other day that netflix has several seasons of The
Practice available to rent, so it seems like you should be able to find
them somewhere...or rent them from netflix.

We were given a DVD set of the Practice Season One which came before
Boston Legal. The show is great but cannot find anything beyond
Season One except Season 2 per episode from Amazon. I have seen a
couple of ads for complete series but not sure I can trust them.
Suggestions please

I was hoping for Denny's ex-girlfriend (the litle person) to show up again. Denny would probably tell me that they must have short of time. I really miss that lady. Whenever Dnnny said something to insult her, she would have that mix of anger and hurt in her eyes. I had a crush on herm, BTW.

It was the dude who went into someone's home and didn't know they had a code for the alarm and he was getting arrested. So I thought it was ironic that they showed that one (verizon commercial) right after Denny got arrested for entering the wrong home.

What was the commercial? I'm in Canada...we get different commercials here than you do in the U.S.

I was outraged that this show ended on a most racist tone in such explicit manners. (Did anyone worry about, say, the Japanese and Koreans taking over the U.S.?) Even though Candice Bergen said she loved the Chinese people and complained about the Government I felt it was directed at the entire Chinese civilization. Shame on David Kelly and ABC! If the U.S. hates so much about China getting stronger, why not learn to be stronger herself!
The only really bad point for me was the Chinese on the balcony scene. I
couldn't believe my eyes...it almost felt like a violation! Eew. I was
glad they made that right in the end.
Really sad to see this excellent and entertaining show come to an end.
But if they had to do it, I thought they did it well and left us on a
positive note.

I know what you're saying, but I found that hillarious. Particularly
what they said about Alan and Denny. "Talk, talk, talk, talk, talk."

So, what did you all think about last night's series finale?
I loved it and thought it struck the right note. They tied up all the major plotlines, everyone got their man and no-one died. I found myself crying at many points...although they were happy tears, surprisingly. I was blown away by Alan and Denny (what a perfect resolution for them...and so surprising!) and so happy for Jerry and Katie.
