Bo Bice Single Rockets to Top of Barnes & Noble Bestsellers List

Bo Bice might have come in second on American Idol, but his new single is currently in first place on the Barnes & Noble.com Bestsellers list for music.  Bo Bice’s single includes the songs “Inside Your Heaven” and “Vehicle.”  An impressive debut especially when you factor in that the single is only currently available for pre-order and won’t be released until June 21, 2005.

The American Idol Season 4 The Showstoppers CD is also on the Barnes & Noble Bestsellers list at the number 10 position.  In addition, American Idol winner Carrie Underwood’s new single currently holds the number 16 slot on the same Bestsellers list.  Carrie Underwood’s single includes the songs “Inside Your Heaven” and “Independence Day” and is scheduled to be released on June 14, 2005.  The Barnes & Noble Bestsellers list Top 100 are updated hourly, so the rankings could change after this article is published.  The information is current as of 12 Midnight Eastern Time May 28, 2005.

In addition to CDs, any merchandise featuring Carrie Underwood or Bo Bice is hot right now.  Ebay is filled with auctions selling everything from old CDs to t-shirts to toast.  The highest priced Bo Bice item on ebay is a domain name package with a starting bid price of $25,000, but there are no current bids on the item.  Another high-priced Bo ebay aution is a guitar autographed by Bo Bice and Lynyrd Skynyrd with a starting bid price of $1,000.  The highest-priced Bo ebay auction that actually has bids is a Bo Bice with Purge CD called “Exgratia” that is all the way up to $256.13.  This auction makes the Bo Bice & Sugar Money CD “Recipe for Flavor” currently available on the Sugar Money website for $10 look like a real bargain.  One of the more unusual Bo Bice ebay items is that there are currently four different pieces of toast bearing Bo’s image for sale.

Meanwhile, the highest priced item for Carrie Underwood on ebay is actually a piece of toast with her image for which the seller is asking a starting bid of $1,000, and there are also currently no bidders on the item.  However, if you must have some Carrie Underwood toast, you might want to shop around because there are four other pieces of Carrie toast on ebay with more reasonable starting bids.  The highest-priced Carrie ebay auction that actually has bids is an autographed Carrie Underwood card that is all the way up to $81.  Another hot Carrie Underwood item on ebay is her first CD that she recorded when she was thirteen and fourteen and that was released by Star Rise Productions.  The bidding on this early Carrie Underwood CD is already up to $51.
