Hello Martin,

I know this message is old, but I've only just seen it...

I have a near-complete collection of Carson's Law and might be able to help out
with the other classics as well.

Most of my Carson's Law eps are off WIN, but of some of the early ones I've only
got 80's recordings, so would be happy to have a WIN copy for the better picture
quality, and also I have a couple of other incomplete eps.

Would be happy to here from you,

Hadas

Hi! This is my first post so hello to everyone.
Is anybody else disappointed to see that WIN hasn't put anything else from the

They have moved Division 4 to Carson's old timeslot and where Division 4 was
has been replaced by informercials.
I've tried to email WIN but never seem to get a reply.

Hi! This is my first post so hello to everyone.
Is anybody else disappointed to see that WIN hasn't put anything else from the
vast archive of Crawford shows to replace the timeslot that was occupied by
Carson's Law?
They have moved Division 4 to Carson's old timeslot and where Division 4 was has
been replaced by informercials.
I've tried to email WIN but never seem to get a reply.

I suspect Cop Shop hasn't been released on DVD because there is little perceived
market for it.

There have been recent DVD releases of soap opera Number 96 - but that was a
very famous show. Also, it *is* still entertaining, and each episode is packed
with comedy and intrigue. Also its soap opera storylining means a string of
episodes covering an entire storyline period can feasibly be released together.

Cop Shop was more standard police drama and while it had continuing story
threads, these were usually subplots and charatcer studies of the regular
characters. So there's no big "Pantyhose Murderer" storylines (or "Mr Bad", in
the case of soap "E Street") that look so attractive on a DVD cover.

Personally I'd like to see some episodes of The Box on DVD. Since that was
rather a talky and slow moving show, I'd imagine that at most, only a few famous
episodes with major incidents from that serial would be released. In that regard
Cop Shop also fares badly because I do not think it had too many 'big' episodes.
(Except maybe Mike and Danni's wedding.) Cop Shop was more a show that kept its
regular formula stable, it didn't seem to have too many major upheavels or
cliffhanger episode disasters.

Robert.
