Janet Catches Jack and Carly in Bed! (Spoiler)

Jack wakes up in Pittsburgh, PA – and in bed with Carly this week, which "caps off a wonderful remote tour," recounts Michael Park (Jack) of the shocking ending to the "Never Surrender" storyline.

Prior to that, the duo finally locates Simon, but he flees the scene.  An infuriated Jack chases after him and almost gets hit by an oncoming car.  Carly pushed Jack out of the way and they share a close moment.  "Maura [West, Carly] got to knock me down and sit on me!" previews Park.  "She kept Jack from getting the first down."

A depressed Jack retreats to the hotel bar, where Carly fails to get him to stop drinking.  So, she throws him in a cold shower and they fall asleep while talking in bed together.  "It's maybe the beginning of something, who knows," teases Park.  "He still has to deal with a lot of things with Janet, but then again, Jack doesn't know that Janet's already got her wheels turning in a different direction, too."

Indeed.  While Jack and Carly are sleeping, Dusty tracks them down on Janet's behalf.  "She feels very much alone and Dusty's been there for her, so they end up going to Pittsburgh to talk to Jack," explains Julie Pinson (Janet).  "At the hotel, the door is ajar, so Janet walks in," where she's shocked to find her husband in bed with his ex.  "You just don't do that!" she adds.  "The scenario speaks for itself."  Instead of confronting him, Janet leaves.  "She hasn't heard from Jack, so it's just not a good thing to walk in on.  She's in shock and thinks, `I can't deal with this right now.'"

The following day, Jack returns home just in time for the annual cutting of the Hubbard squash, while Janet dutifully puts on a happy face.  "She still in love with the guy!" sighs Pinson.  "She wants to give him another chance and it's not the appropriate time to say, `Gee, why were you in be3d with another woman?' That's at least how she feels on that day."

On the other side of town, Carly gets wind of Ro and Craig's hasty engagement and an emotional Katie comes home to find and unusual Thanksgiving surprise at her doorstep…

I am totally dumbfounded on Meg, how can anyone find out that someone kept the
truth about their brother possibly being alive, and married his widow, then Meg
goes right ahead and uses this info to try to get Damian back???
what is up with this nutjob, did she spend too much time with Paul?
I also hope the writers get on with the Carly/Craig/Ro story, we all know Carly
takes off and goes after Jack. So why not speed it along?

As much as I like Henry, and he is one of my fav characters on the
show.
The responsibility for Brad's death ultimately falls at Henry, his
mother's, and of course uncle Ralph's feet.
Yeah, it was very dumb of Katie to confront Ralph like that, but her
motives were pure in this case.
She was trying to help a friend in trouble.
On the other hand, Henry and his mom started the whole ball rolling on
this mess out of pure greed which ultimately resulted in Brad's death.
To Henry's credit though.  Unlike other characters on the show who
have done something like this in his case it's eating him up with
guilt.
He's a nice guy who has taken the wrong road one too many times, and
now it's finally come back to bite him and his best friend big time.

The reason I thought Paul and Emily would set up a trust for Jacob or give some
of the money for Lib to go to college, was because of this blood money that got
Brad killed, he wont be there to support his children, he wont be able to ensure
they have college in their future and I just thought it would be a nice gesture
to offer.

Does anyone think we will ever know the real reason Austin Peck left the show?
Was the whole story of not getting along with another actor a creation of the
producers or even of Austin's pr ppl to save his rep???
I just wish I knew for sure if equal treatment was given to all parties
involved.

Its hard to tell who it was but a lot of the people on the message board feel as

Alison tried and tried to tell them that something was not right with Dr. Bob,
but, they wouldn't listen to her. I thought when they found out that Bob had a

Heading into the holiday season, don't look for much happiness on ATWT in the wake of Brad's death. "The ramifications from him being shot by Jack will affect just about everybody in town," promises co-headwriter David Kreizman.

JACK & CARLY: TOGETHER AGAIN?

The guilt over causing his brother's death launches Jack into a downward spiral that leads him to hit the road in search of himself… but he won't be alone.  "Carly comes back the day of Brad's funeral," the scribe reveals.  "And then she goes after Jack once he takes off on his trip.  He is having an especially difficult time with Janet, and so Carly, who in some ways is an impartial observer in all this, can reach him in a way that his wife can't right now."

CRAIG'S DILEMMA

Carly's return also impacts Craig and Rosanna, who got, er, "reacquainted" in her absence.  "They have kind of rationalized that Carly's gonna come back and not want Craig, anyway," Kreizman explains.  And that's his way of justifying being with Rosanna.  But when Carly doesn't say anything like that at all, it becomes very complicated!"

LOVE NEVER DIES

Katie's struggle to deal with the loss of her husband as she raises their new son takes a spooky turn when Brad remains a part of her life as a ghost!  It's tragic and romantic, and there's also some humor in it because Henry is the medium for Brad," the scribe reveals.  "It's difficult, because Katie also blames Henry for what happened, so she doesn't want to listen to him.  He has to figure out a way to help Katie and Brad at the same time."

MASON MAKES HIS MOVE!

Mason admitted his attraction to Noah, but the situation will become a lot more serious when the teacher sets out to woo his favorite student.  "When Luke gets the sense that Mason is really getting in the way," says Kreizman, "some of his Damian side comes out!"

EMILY'S NEW MAN

Liberty's tragic miscarriage may have cut short Paul and Emily's plan to raise a family together, but it also launches them in a new direction.  "Emily, especially, believes that maybe she wasn't meant to have a child," Kreizman says, "that these bad things happened to them because of what they've done in their past.  Paul refuses to believe that.  And it's in this place that Mick Dante comes in and offers them some help."

CAN DAMIAN HOLD ON TO LILY?

Holden has a tough time getting past the fact that Lily married another man – let alone Damian! – about two minutes after his own presumed death.  "It's not a foregone conclusion that Lily and Holden will get back together," the writer swears.  "Damian is trying to hold on to Lily, and Meg is feeling very left out, and it leads her to take some extreme action!"
