The August 18th epoisode of Big Brother was appalling. Howie was
abusive towards April. CBS should not allow any house guests to abuse
other guests on national television regardless of the "entertainment
value", the nature of the game, or past transgressions by other
guests. What Howie did was NOT acceptable. It was crass and his self-
proclaimed resolve to break down other guests psycologically should
not have been allowed to revert to personal attacks against another
guest on prime time television. Shame on CBS for giving an abusive man
a VERY public forum to degrade a woman. Mr. Gordon is clearly a sexist
whose insecurity and fears about himself need to be addressed in
domestic abuse counseling rather than be flaunted on a national
television show.
