I been thinking, since paul gross hasn't done alot of movies, or alot of
really really good movies, maybe us fans could get together and write some
movies for him. I know it sounds like hard work to do but for all of you who
write due south fanfiction, you all do such an incredible good job . The
stories are sooo good, and some times you feel like your in the story! :)
and i know you guys can do this...

I have recently been asking alot of people about the movie "xxx's and ooo's
aka bittersweet blues" with paul gross in it, and alot of you liked it and
the only thing you didn't really like was when paul was singing the songs in
the movie, it wasn't his voice, anyway maybe some of you could rewrite the
story and add in what you think should have happened and if you want to,
some of the songs he sung in it, maybe you could change them to some of the
songs that paul gross and david keeley wrote and sung, like, " blind man,
angels, two houses"

If we get super lucky, maybe we could send the story to paul and if he likes
it, he'll make a remake of it and this time really sing in it........ it's
just an idea

orr maybe we could write a story that you would all like to see made into a
movie. I have a perfect idea for one, How about we write a story all about
paul gross and david keeley going across country or was it state? anyway,
their traveling to different places to try to produce their cd called " two
houses". Have them be driving in old pick up truck, they meet alot of big
time people who produce cd's i don't know what you call them.. would it be
agents? anyway have alot of people turn them down, have paul and david get
angry but not tooo angry>> They won't have alot of money to spend, just
enough to survive, they have to rent dirt cheap hotels, sleep on the floor,
or share a bed, and some of those nights, they will write more songs,

they will tell stories, have a good time, you could have one night, have
paul standing or sitting next's to a window holding his guitar and singing
the song blind man, or two houses, and their be a big time thunder storm
going on outside, rain hitting against the window, after paul sung the song
he turns and askes david keeley if he liked it....

anyway when they are finally ready to give up have one guy say he loves the
soundtrack and wants to sell it, and have them become very famouse, and go
on tours, and sing in front of huge crowds...you know like garth brooks
does,

and we could also write stories for a new due south movie, like maybe " due
south goes to london"

well i hope you all aren't mad at me for writing such a loong message, but i
really think we should do this, i know we are all dying to see paul in alot
of movies,

and if you want, when were finish with a story, you could send it to all of
us and we could read it and take a vote.....

well have to go, write back and tell me if you like this idea... jenn

I've seen both of those movies. I can barely remember "Whale Music" because
I pretty much passed out during the parts without Paul (which was, well,
most of it), but I think (I THINK) it might be a teeny bit mature for a ten
year old. Mostly just for some implied sexuality. Don't quote me on this,
though, cuz I don't remember too well. It was a long time ago.

And "Paint Cans" isn't even worth the time if you're seeing it just for
Paul. As I recall he was in one scene, and if he spoke, it was only one or
two lines. It was a good movie, actually, but not so hot for the Paul
content. [S] Again, maybe a bit too adult for a ten year old. Oh, another
thing I remember, Paul's character was gay.

Are you ten to thirteen, Jennifer?

I would suggest seeing if you can get your hands on a copy of his "Chasing
Rainbows" mini-series. It was realllllly good, and he's got Tremendous
airtime, since he's one of the main characters! He's cute as a button in
that one, too. =o)

Melanie

PS-another Paul movie that's not really suitable for young children is
"Married To It". He's got more screen time than the ones mentioned above,
but BOY does he look skinny in that one!

Wasn't that the chick Paul Gross fell in love with in "Getting Married in
Buffalo Jump"? That's what I thought was really cute about that
episode....[s]

At the request of the site owner, the Fraser's Library site is no longer an
archive for these awards. Stories archived there are only eligible if they are
also on the hexwood archive, or if they have been posted to
alt.tv.due-south.creative. If you've placed stories on Fraser's Library, by all
means keep them there, as I still consider it one of the best places for finding
quality work...which was the reason I listed it in the first place! But if you
want your work eligible for this award, please upload it to the hexwood archive
as well. (Elyse, I'm calling you personally in regards to this...I simply MUST
be able to vote for "Alone"!)

As this season (2) rolled in I couldn't wait to watch the beggining episodes.
As I watched the 'Vault' a major question poped into my head. Does anyone
know what happened at the end of the episode he tells Inspector Thatcher that
he wants to where his RED SERGE and really doesn't care what she thinks. She
then comes back and says your fired and he sayed "Understood". On the next
episode he wasn't fired from the Consulate and was wearing his red serge?
What exactly happened at the end of the Vault.......I mean I don't understand
what he got fired from.

It is a great screen saver, but if you have a Macintosh computer, you are
out of luck for downloading it. :(

Sorry. <S> For those of you who don't know him by name, here's a link to a
picture of him: http://members.tripod.com/~bumbleshoot/pklewis.gif

By the way, for those of you who are Nikita fans, Clark also directed an
episode of "La Femme Nikita"! =o)

Hey. There's something that popped up recently on my "Homicide: Life on the
Street" mailing list having to do with "dueSouth", and I was wondering if
any of you all could confirm or deny it.

Was Clark Johnson (who plays Detective Meldrick Lewis on "Homicide") ever on
an episode of "dueSouth"?

If anyone knows, please lemmie know! =o)
