I am one of the many who is anxiously waiting for Tickets for the June
23rd screening to go online. How are you all watching for
them? How often and when are you checking? Someone on the
official board posted something called URLy, that's supposed to watch
for changes on a web page, but with movietickets.com, I can't just make
it watch June 23rd, can I?
Any ideas?

hate to ask for a favor with my first post here, but i'm going out of town and i
will be away from a computer when the tickets (are likely to) go on sale for the
(alleged) june 23 screening. if anyone is able to get one - just one - extra
ticket, i'd be forever in your debt. and if not, that's cool too.
Good afternoon all. Just thought I would drop a line and say hello to
the fellow brown coats in AZ! Hopefully I'll be able to meet up with a
couple of you at one of the shindigs, or at the very least, the next
screening!
This is assuming that by this time next week it's not on fire again?
It -is- the anniversary.

Hmm, I will be at work, so no AIM for me, but my cell phone number is
(602)418-2370, just on the extremely slim chance that I won't be at a
computer when the tickets go on sale. (after all, i work in front of a
computer...)

I posted about this on the Versal Board, but I rememberd this and realized more of us would be likely to see it here. So..
I called Arizona Mills and asked if there would be a screening on
the 23rd, they said there would be, but all they knew was that it was a
Universal movie, and that the tickets will go on sale on the 9th
whenever movietickets.com updates the page. Thought I would spread the word.

Well if I had to say, life or death, I would go with Our Mrs.
Reynolds. I just love how funny that episode is, but I have
something to love about every episode!
P.S. I set up this yahoo account when I was much younger and
my mother was much more afraid of the internet...that's why it
says Cordelia Chase. It freaks some people out sometimes
anyway...AZ Browncoats Rock!

Isn't it funny how Arizona Brown Coats is ABC?
oh jeez, favorite episode?
hmm... well, i would probably have to go with... umm...
i could explain WHY i like each episode, but as for a favorite, thats
tough. OoG, or OiS, i guess. HoG and jaynestown are fantastic though
as well.
Out of Gas, no question.
Makes me cry, makes me laugh. All the best elements of sci-fi,
westerns, and Joss.

What's FLG?
Sorry, couldn't help myself.
So, while people are introducing themselves I'd love to know
everyone's favorite episode.
Liz
I swallowed a bug.
Hey all,
I'm new to the group not new to FIREFLY, been a fan since Day 1. Love
just about all things Joss and Co (anyone else excited for THE INSIDE
this Wednesday on Fox @ 8pm?) My Browncoat alias is nopowerintheverse
so if you've been to the Universal Serenity Movie Browncoat site,
that's where you know me from. Otherwise, I'm Debbie and from Tucson.
Anyone ever wanna chat Firefly/ANGEL/Buffy or real life or movies I'm
game just email me.
->?
Another new member here :) I just wanted to say "hi" and introduce
myself--I'm Dori. I'm hoping to make it to the shindig this weekend
for a little bit (and the 'verse willing, to a screening) and meet
some other fans.
Hi everyone :o) My name is Loni. I go by oog on the
Fireflyfans.net board and fffanatic at the official
(Universal) browncoats board. I rarely post to either,
though.
Been a Browncoat since the get-go and excited to meet
other people who are too :o) The screening was great
and I can't wait til September to see it again!
See ya in the 'verse!

Hey all, just wanted to drop a line and introduce myself. I'm called
Retro, and I've been a browncoat in the Tucson area for about 2 months
now, since my roomate picked up the series on DVD. (He was a huge
Buffy fan, and is now a worshipper of all things Whedon.) I haven't
been to any of the Shindigs or the screening, but I'm hoping to go to
the next screening in Phoenix. I'll be the one in the brown coat. ;)
So, since others were joining and saying hey I thought I'd do the same.
I'm Liz. Like Becky I've not been to a Shindig, but I was at the
Phoenix screening. In fact I sat next to Becky and Rihk in line. :D
I've been a fan of Firefly since Train Job and am excited to know
there are other Flans in Phoenix.
Woot.
Liz
I swallowed a bug.
Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Becky... I'm Rihk's wife. I
haven't been able to make it to the Shindigs cuz I work on Saturdays,
but I was at the Phoenix pre-screening and will definitely be going
if there's another one! :)
I don't know about anyone else, but I had a ton of fun at the last
shindig! It was definitely a success. And we get to do it again,
yay! All are welcome to come to Samurai Comics on Saturday, June 11
from 4 pm to 8ish to watch Firefly eps, socialize, eat, and generally
have fun! Last time a couple of innocent store patrons were
hypnotized by the show. Let's see if we can do it again. ;)
Bring a couple of bucks if you want pizza. We can also bring our own
snacks, but we just need to make sure to clean up after ourselves.
The store has drinks for sale.
On the agenda for June 11:
Shindig
- movie trailer
Safe
- full gag reel
Our Mrs. Reynolds
- movie trailer
Jaynestown
- Adam Baldwin sings
This is the second of four events to be held the second Saturday of
every month through August. It's a great opportunity to meet and
hang out with fellow Browncoats. Hope to see you there!
