Ken, It's me again, Michelle. Come on lets be real. JH needs to FIRE her
hairdresser. Her hair on Oprah was a MESS. This is exactly what I'm talking
about. Her hair looked 100x better on AI. And I bet she did it on AI.

To make this forum a little more live I am going
to start posting some of my own articles regarding Jennifer Hudson.
For those of you who know me, or are subscribed to my bi-
weekly "LyricallyInsane" articles then you already understand my
true passion for writing. For those of you who don't, I welcome you
to join my world. This is one of the most recent articles that will
be coming out tomorrow. It is regarding the Dreamgirls movie. Enjoy
JHud fans, enjoy.
Multiply the "Weekend In New England" performance by 5, add 10 doses
of "Neither One Us", and combine the Jazz Fest "Summertime"
performance, and you still may only produce a small fractional
result of how Jennifer Hudson audaciously stole the spotlight from
seasoned actors such as Jamie Foxx and Eddie Murphy in the once
Broadway play, now major produced film, Dreamgirls. If there ever
was such a "dream" for a "girl", then that dream was made complete
when Jennifer Hudson successfully triumphed over 782 other probable
cast members to play the role of Effie. It is hard to imagine that
any one of the other 782 girls could have even come close to such a
superb performance, and when you see Jennifer's presentation in the
film you will be assured that Dreamworks made an excellent choice in
whom they chose to cast the Effie role.
Have you ever witnessed a standing ovation in the middle of a movie
show? Neither had I, until Jennifer Hudson's rendition of "And I Am
Telling You" electrified the audience. I even seen a few people
reach for their napkins and wipe tears from their moistened eyes.
And though I have listened to the version of the song at least 500
times, it was not until that moment when Jennifer sang that I was
able to see exactly what Effie was trying to express. For the five
minutes that Jennifer sang "And I Am Telling You" it was like Effie
overwhelmingly captured my soul, and I became her. I felt her hurt,
I felt her pain, I felt her despair and I'm sure everyone else that
was watching the film felt the same way. That particular scene of
the movie was intended to have the audience empathize with Effie,
and comprehend her sincere love for Curtis. It was a part of the
movie that had to be executed flawlessly, and that had to make a
statement and Jennifer seamlessly done just that! And it is in
exceptional scenes such as this where Oscar nominations are
conceived.
Speaking of Oscar's, beyond the scope of Jennifer's musical
performances is where a hidden talent lay invisible. Who would have
ever imagined that the diva could act as well as she sang? Jennifer
brought numerous scenes of the film to life, and acted as if she had
rehearsed the role for years. The acting came so natural, and
amazingly beautiful. The character of Effie made you laugh, cry, and
rejoice all in one movie. Every mentioning of an Oscar that comes
Jennifer Hudson's way is well deserved and warranted. Oh damn, I
forgot to mention the other actors in the movie. Sorry.
