I agree. I myself would like multiple procedures, and no average
citizen could afford it on his or her own. By the way, I got your
e-mail message about Grouply, but I think I prefer this Yahoo Group
instead. :)

I wish they would bring the show back? I wanted to apply. After all
just the dental work I wanted down would cost me a fortune. Maybe if a
enough
people petitioned ABC they would bring the show back.

I too thought this site had died down. But I must ask, what are the pursuits of
this site? Are we hoping the show will pick up and continue? I have Sam Saboa on
my "My Space", I can contact him, but he is no longer with the show. Of course
not since they no longer air. I also can get in touch with one of the drivers
that drove us around to all our Dr. visits and appts. She possibly may have a
way of getting in touch with someone who may know if there is any hope of the
show returning. It was an awesome experience, but it has been 3 years since my
daughter and I had our makeover. And being 50 now, the lines are reappearing in
my face, the weight is creeping back on. But hey, I still love the new nose and
teeth.

Wow, I had kind of put my Extreme Makeover Dreams on hold for a while in the
interest of college and taking care of some health issues I was having as well.
I feel that since joining this group, I have not been active enough in its

Yeah - it's great - they brought the show back but unfortunately they
only made 4 episodes.  These were originally supposed to be shown last
summer, but it was cancelled at the last minute.  Then they brought it
back in late October 2006 (the episode with Marlee Matlin).  (personal
note: I never saw this episode since I didn't know it was on) Then
inexplicably, they cancelled the remaining 3 episodes.

Now finally they are just showing those last 3 episodes, so the last
one is tomorrow (July 16, 2007) unfortunately.  More info here:

It should take you to the site now since they had a new show, I got to it the
other day. If not then you can get to it thru my name with it, it will take you
to my makeover page but you can click at the top to home page or apply for a

missed junk food. They have you on the Michael Thurman diet, six small
meals a day according to your body type and you work out for one hour,
about four times a week, except during your healing process after
surgery! Thurman is great, he can target the trouble spots like you
wouldn't believe. Also 2 miles (2 x a day)  on a treadmill.

First I would like to apologize for my english because I'm french so I
don't speak english very well.
I have some questions about this show.
I have seen many episodes of this show and I have seen that there is a
UK version. I don't think that they will come in France bu I would like
to know if someone knows how apply to this show when you are a resident

Well, as far as getting ahold of the people who are interested, I would
say that it would be simplest to e-mail them via their personal e-mail
addresses, if they have them listed. Of not, maybe you could contact
them here? I'm not sure if that answers the question . . . maybe that's
not even what you meant. But I wanted to give some input for you. Hope

I think if you were to build a 360 page, that would get to alot of people. But

We are going to being looking for a place in Horry Country.  Or around the
Andrews, and we have been looking at Dillon.  There is a number of places we are
looking at.

What are the chances!! Congratulations on being chosen and also on
landing a job in law enforcement! Glad to hear that there is a devoted
fan of the show out there just like me!

I always loved the show, then finally took the chance to apply with my
daughter, and by the Grace of God, we were chosen out of 60,000
applicants, at least that's what the producers said. I still enjoy my
looks, my daughter still a beauty. It has been almost 2 years now, our
show aired 2-10-04. I think our chances were increased by the fact we
were a mother daughter team and because I struggled from being widowed
to becoming a cop and my daughter cause she was a newlywed and was
sooo self conscious about no breasts. Last I talked to one of my
producers he said they were going to come back. But that has been
awhile, I will try and locate his email address again and ask him. I
of course am still a big fan of EXM!! It was a lifechanging experience!
