A PCTV device would need to be carried around if you want to be able to watch TV
in other places. The Satellite TV for PC program will play TV channels on any
computer with an internet access. This means that you can carry your laptop
around and still watch TV online, or you could put the software into a portable
device. That will allow you to turn any computer with internet access into a
super TV.
Conclusion
Both solutions are really good, and they only cost a one-time fee to allow you
to watch TV on the internet. I personally use the software method since I feel
