I usually like this guy, even though I consider him a flaming
commie lib. I had a lot of problems with how he lived on minimum
wage. First of all, he made seven dollars an hour. This demonstrates
the point that it's easy to make more than minimum wage. I think he
needed an extra 30 days to study how to live like a poor person. I
have studied on it my whole life, and have the skills to live like a
friggin' king now on forty thousand a year with family of four. For
food, get your butt to ALDI! You can have a whole cartload of good
food for Thirty dollars! NEVER buy consessions at the theatre!!!
What are you high? You go to a store nearby, and fill your coat
pockets/wifes purse with candy/pop etc.. for five dollars.
The biggest mistake he made was going to the emergency room.
Having worked without insurance before, I can tell you that going to
the emergency room is never an option for a poorboy. You slap a
bandage on a hurt wrist or ankle or anything. Isn't that all they
did for him in the emergency room? Ice it, take some Ibuprofen, and
rub some tussin on it!! I have insurance now. I have a strained
ankle right now, and no emergency room can do anything about it.
Just continue on, in a few months it will heal.
I love the fact that people like Spurlock and Michael Moore have
the message that you can't make it in America anymore. Both of them
are stinking ritch. They have risen from nothing to a very
comfortable life. Aren't they proof that you can make it? Anyone
who decides to pull themselves up to a comfortable life can do so.
In America your skill/intelligence/determination will dictate how
long it takes you.
