Sorry about that blank message. LOL What I mean is I balme Xander for being

No.  He was 18, and even if you did not like the person, it was HIS choice.
Xander did not know before hand that Faith was using him as, well, a human
dildo.  He rolled over ready to "snuggle" when she threw him out.  But it
DID mean something to Xander, he finally got some, as they say.

Was Willow crying for Xander.  I doubt it.  Why'd she hide, even from her
best friend?  Buffy knows ALL of Willows emotions, as does Xander.

Dear concerned Buffy fan,

Representatives of 20th Century Fox Television have contacted The
Slayer's Fanfic Archive requesting the immediate removal of AleXander's
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" episode transcripts and Karl's BtVS comic
transcripts. This puts the future of all the transcripts, including
Earth Girl's "Angel" transcripts, which were to come this fall, into
jeopardy. A copy of Fox's representative's letter is attached below.

The SFA's site owner has contacted Fox's representatives and is making a
directed attempt to negotiate with them, and ultimately directly with
Fox, to secure official permission to keep these transcripts posted and
available to everyone, but at this time has no idea how these
negotiations will go. The legal notice and disclaimer that Fox requested
has already been added to the transcript pages, and the site owner has
assured AleXander that every effort will be made to retain the
transcripts on the SFA. However, it is only the fans of the show that
collectively have the clout to make this happen. If the WB were to
cancel Buffy, Joss would certainly fight for his show, but only an
outpouring from its fans could save it.

The history of the transcripts goes back over two years to July of 1997,
which makes them a well-established resource to the online BtVS
community. Joss Whedon himself has given the project his verbal
blessing, even going so far as to autograph a hard copy of the "Welcome
to the Hellmouth" transcript, which bears a copyright statement to
Alexander Thompson, AKA AleXander and The Slayer's Transcriber. A scan
of it is available for viewing on the SFA at
http://slayerfanfic.com/Alexander/autographs/JossWhedon2.gif . These and
other factors are already working in our favor, but Fox has a history of
being stingy with its materials.

Because of its on-going story line, BtVS is the kind of show that is
difficult to get into without knowing what has gone before. Over the
last two years this has become the major reason people read the
transcripts, to catch up on past episodes and to read those that they've
missed. In addition, people who live in areas of the world where the
show is not broadcast, and who have therefore never seen the show, have
become fans because they were able to read the transcripts and view
images on the 'Net.

BtVS has also inspired people to write thousands and thousands of pages
of fanfic. The transcripts themselves number over 1500 printed pages,
and have become a valuable resource for those writers who want to be as
accurate as possible while writing their fics. The transcripts also set
a superior example of proper English spelling and grammar, as well as
provide accurate translations of the foreign and dead languages the show
occasionally employs. Great lengths have been taken in order to achieve
this, and this helps younger and more inexperienced writers improve
their own skills, thus promoting literacy in our society.

What we as the online BtVS community need to do is convince Fox that
these transcripts have a real place on the Internet, and that taking
them down would be a mistake, not only for the fans of the show, but for
Fox as well. The reasons given in the above paragraphs are only the most
widespread. Everyone who has read the transcripts has their own reasons
that they enjoy having them available, and those reasons should not be
overlooked.

The best way to do this is through a letter-writing campaign. These
letters should be sent or faxed to Mr. Dennis L. Wilson, of Keats
McFarland & Wilson LLP, at the address or FAX number given in his letter
below. You can also e-mail him, but a hard copy letter or FAX carries
more weight.

DO NOT WRITE AN ANGRY LETTER! These letters need to be positive and
encouraging. Your letter should ask them to PLEASE reconsider their
request. Do NOT call it a "demand", that's too negative. Anger gets us
nowhere. Fox probably has the legal high ground with their copyrights,
and we are checking into this, but either way we are the ones in the
position of needing to be polite and civil.

DO NOT mention the names of the people who own, operate or make major
contributions to the SFA, namely Anya, BioHaz, AleXander, Earth Girl,
Karl or any of the volunteer programmers or archivists. It is ABSOLUTELY
ESSENTIAL that these people remain neutral in this. If Fox decides to
wield its legal muscle, we haven't got a chance, even if we could prove
our point, and it won't help for any of us to look like we are fighting
them. We want to keep the transcripts, but we also want to cooperate
with Fox and have their blessing, and we can't do that if it looks to
them as though we are fighting them.

I'd rather everyone writes their letter in their own words, but I
realize that not everyone has the time. So here is something you can cut
and paste into your word processors, add your own reasons why you'd like
to see the transcripts continue to be available on the SFA, and print
out for mailing or faxing. If you don't want to add your own words,
PLEASE be sure to remove the line in the letter prompting you to do so.

Also, please forward this letter to any BtVS mailing lists and
newsletters that you subscribe to. We need to get the word on this out
fast, and every little bit helps.

Dear Mr. Wilson,

I have just learned that 20th Century Fox Television has asked the
owners of The Slayer's Fanfic Archive to remove the transcripts of
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" that are posted there. I am writing to you,
since you are Fox's representative in this matter, to encourage Fox to
please reconsider this request.

The transcripts are a valuable resource to BtVS fans all over the world.
They provide new fans with a way to catch up with the show. They give
established fans a way to look up details they may have missed, such as
slurred or inaudible dialogue or to read an episode that they missed.
They also give writers of fan fiction a place to check the details they
need to make their stories accurate.

I personally enjoy reading the transcripts because [insert your own
POSITIVE thoughts here].

Those fans who are online know that Joss Whedon, the creator of BtVS and
holder of all creative rights to the show, not only knows of the
existence of these transcripts and the writing of fan fiction, but has
even publicly stated his support of them in writing on the official
posting board at www.buffy.com. He has met the person who wrote the
transcripts and even autographed one. It seems odd that the studio where
the show is produced objects to the transcripts, while the show's
creator and creative genius encourages them.

I feel that Fox ought to consider itself lucky that there is a fan out
there who is willing to put so much obvious time and effort into
producing such well-written transcripts of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer".
They are one of the things that make it a special show to its online
fans. They have also attracted many more people and converted them into
fans of the show. I feel that Fox is doing itself a disservice to
request the removal of these transcripts from the Internet.

gone.  In situations where many would be killed.  Upon seeing her, they say,

I'll never forget the way they all treated her. Xander just weighed down
on him so much. I can kinda understand Joyce's behavior, but she has to
understand that Buffy sent her Lover to Hell.

The only ones who weren't weighing down on her were Cordelia and Oz.
Sure, Cordy didn't know the definition of tact in this episode, but at
least she was siding with Buffy. And Willow was about to say something
when Buffy cut her off, saying that she couldn't take it anymore.

I'm kinda curious to find out what would've happened if their
conversation hadn't been interrupted by the zombies. I think that someone
should write a story about that. Hmm...

Think about it. If your best friend had sex with a person that you never
liked in the first place, for very good reasons in fact, wouldn't you be
sad? I mean, it didn't even mean anything to Faith. "That was great.
Gotta shower." I mean, it meant nothing to her, and Xander just gave
something really precious away that should've been for the person he
falls in love with, that's pretty sad.
